Nobody on any fringe is any better than anyone else on the fringe. I do think think folks on the left tend to be more in denial about there even existing a violent fringe on their side.

Sounds like boiler plate language to me--I'll bet all the members got that same letter.

I'm not so sure anyone can detect that someone you choose for a committee will commit murder six years later.

Can you imagine how the Democrats would react if a Republican elected official had appointed somebody who went and did something like this? Democrats are the same party that once lionized a senator who drove a young woman off a bridge and let her drown.
