So what do we have here?

We must learn more.

A former appointee of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is being sought in connection with the assassination of a state lawmaker and the shooting of another, police sources said.

Vance Luther Boelter allegedly posed as a police officer when he shot Sen. John Hoffman and his wife in their Champlin home early Saturday, leaving them seriously injured before moving on to former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman’s house — where he is believed to have slaughtered her and her husband, sources told The Post.

Boelter, 57, was appointed by Walz in 2019 to serve a four year stint on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, documents show.

I guess we can not say among other things, Tampon Tim is no judge of character.

From his appointment letter for Boelter

"The letter reads, “Because of the special trust and confidence I have in your integrity, judgment, and ability, I have appointed and commissioned you to have and to hold the office of Business Member, GOVERNOR’S WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD.” The document was signed by Walz."

There is that equivalency thing you MAGA types have issues with. You guys really need to install a light or something that flashes when you go off in this direction because Trump's actions make you look foolish when you go here.

Sure, if any of this is true its a poor reflection on Walz. but Walz did nothing wrong in this. However, Trump appointed a fool and an active alcoholic as Secretary of Defense, and that is only one of the f###ups he's appointed to high places. His head of homeland security and his press secretary, and lets not forget his AG. That ain't the end of the list either. It goes on.

So every time you MAGA sorts go here it only points out how you like pointing it out in others, but aren't so great on seeing it in yourselves.

He obviously is a poor judge of integrity and judgement for starters

Maybe.

I would feel FAR more generous in your pointing that out if you noted the same of Trump regarding: Hegseth, Leavitt, Bondi, among others.

Whoever he is and for whatever reason he did this (if indeed he did), I hope he’s caught very quickly and rots in prison.

I mean, let’s be real here. We all find it easier to be “generous” towards those we agree with and you’re no different in that regard.

It's bad enough the left is full of unhinged/unstable people, but they (leftist) collectively excuse all their bad behavior and actions.

Oh come on... "Heggy" was such a blithering idiot he used a public communications app to discuss national secrets on and then was caught, after the fact and the public drubbing, doing it AGAIN. Malfeasant to the power of two. That is just one example of many from Trump appointees. He doesn't hire these folks for their smarts.

I have no problem pointing put Biden's, Harris' or Walz' short comings.

In regard to Walz I find him a fairly decent, for a politician, person of average abilities who might very well be capable of rising to the circumstances like a Truman [who sold men's clothes] or even a Vance. who when the chips were on the line, rose to the circumstances and did the right thing though there was a mob outside calling for his head on a pike over it.

I don't think any of them would be "special" outside the circumstances that might arise to bring it out of them.

I think you mean Pence.

Or pretend like it never happens.

Where is anyone excusing this shooter, whoever they are, even if it's not this guy?

You folks need to realize a LOT of us haven't changed our stances. It is you folks who moved the goal posts on us that changed things.

The lines use to be John Birch on the extreme Right and Students for a Democratic Society on the extreme Left. That ain't the playing field any longer. Some of the extremists on the Left make the SDS look like a Mom's at the PTA bake sale and those of the extreme Right make Birchers seem like Archie Bunker on one of his more touchy feely days.

Pull the edges in folks. The extremes are out in the weeds and you are scaring us.

He had No Kings fliers because he planning on shooting up the protest.
