Actually we have tons to offer. Antitrust enforcement, clean air, clean water, mutual aid, etc. trumpists hate it when someone they think deserves nothing gets something. I got mine **** you. Well thats killed millions of Americans, created the most incarcerated country in the world, the most paranoid country, etc.
 
Nothing is still better than Trump. A stalk of broccoli would be a better president.

Just my way of saying how the left is moving to wanting/needing one-party control through their usage of propaganda, fearmongering, and now violence......hence a totalitarian anarchist. They trust the government to have total control over their lives, as long as it's their own party and all others are the enemy. They have moved past any idea of compromise or agreement between parties.....it's become in their psyche a "us vs. them" paradigm. I believe much of this has come through the indoctrination of our children the last two to three generations, even more quickly once the federal government became entangled into our educational system.

I offer the international and solidarity. Trump offers nothing but stupidity, exploitation, and death built on capitalist class power. JD vance got his ideas from people who want to put women back in chains. Keep pushing for it will not be women going back into the kitchen, it will be the downfall of your entire regressive order.

Nothing but negativity for 4 years from the MAGAs and now you are complaining just because the felon has a sad because even he realizes that his actions have consequences.
 
Well, there is no simple solution. And if you think there is one, then you are delusional. But to answer your question, here's what I think:

First, since the feds subsidize corporations like Tesla, reward those companies that create jobs and take away subsidies from those who don't.

Second, allow banks and federal subsides help businesses create new industries and revitalize old ones where appropriate. However, there will be strings attached with goals that have to be achieved. Failure to do so results in taking away subsidies and to pay the loan to the banks back with a percentage of interest.

Third, do a far better job than DOGE in cutting fraud and waste. Disband DOGE and bury it. It failed. Oh, it cut jobs...and put a stress on local economies and made a mess of government functionality. What we want are cuts of waste and fraud that improves government functions, not to eliminate it.

Fourth, get rid of our current policy of tariffs. It doesn't work. it does more harm than good. And only a fool thinks the world is low towing to Trump. Oh, sure, some third world country may be doing that, but not the world. Instead of an all out trade war based on stupidity, use tariffs as a tool to work on trade imbalances. I'm not against stepping that up a little and targeting specific nations that are actually hostiles to us, but this burn the world down shit Trump is doing won't work. Create trade coalitions that can help us with bad actors like the Chinese. Don't go after our allies....that's just ****ing stupid.

Fifth, abandon the idea that everyone wants to buy American. Selling more to other nations only works if said nations are willing to do so. If they aren't...you just want to slap a tariff on them? Won't work. I've mentioned this before as an example: why Japan will never buy American rice hence their 778% tariff on US rice...and no, it isn't unfair. Look into it. Instead, target markets they will do business with us and make trade negotiations with those items, which should include tariff negotiations (negotiations, not demands). Also, create markets in other nations the good old way: capitalism.

Sixth, embrace new industries. We had an opportunity 20 years ago to create, corner and be a main supplier of green energy and the resulting industry needed for its infrastructure. Millions of jobs and money. But nooooooo...oil companies killed that. So, whatever new industries that we could take over and outperform anyone else in should be examined and embraced if possible. Creating new industries creates new jobs, which creates new profits which creates new investments.

Seventh, Congress should have the power to approve a president's tariff. Simply so this doesn't happen again. We have lost too much already. We have gained nothing. A check on the president's ability to wreck the economy needlessly. Which could lead to wars, BTW.

There is more I could post, but it's getting late: I think you get the idea. But I would have to say that in a fantasy world, the best way to start resolving the problems Trump has created is to impeach and remove him from office as well as Vance, Hegseth and so many, many more. This administration is a failure.

And socialist: they want to control the world economy's profit and who it goes to.
 
How about free trade and actual free markets to start?
 
I believe I have an answer!! If one understands how the overuse nay abuse of sophisticated, integrated and de-humanizing technology has dominated our lives then please consider a systematic rebalancing approach. If one isolates a particular human industry where there exist wholehearted agreement and where humans better machines in all respects such as education, one can see my approach. First, remove all computers and smart phones from all lower level classrooms and reintroduce books and class discussion. Next, dismiss automation and most technology from certain fields of human care taking such as child nurseries and simple nursing. Third, reserve this policy, permitting human excellence in allowing humans to work in fields where they do best and isolating nay instrumentalizing technology to applications where it is most fit and does the best job will be part of the answer!!!
