You are forgetting the loss of millions of minds that have been reduced to mush and making asinine statements like that because they are stuck supporting a bunch of criminals. Flynn is a foreign agent who Trump appointed to the most sensitive job in the Govt. Wrap your mind around that if there is any left.
Would you want someone like Flynn to have stayed on, not until after the Russians bragged that their man was Flynn in the W.H?
If Flynn was indeed in collusion with the Russians, his experience and understanding of foreign theaters are of no value. He is replaceable.
Which brings this up. Could he be put on trial as a traitor and if found guilty, what happens to his body?
People need to understand that the Russians seek to undermine the USA. And they viewed that route by using someone at the highest level to cater to their plan to destroy the USA. It would appear Flynn would have been their principal agent. But I understand that some of Trump's supporters do not care at all.
Foreign agent like in NGOs in Russia? I have not really seen anything on Flynn other than lying that should disqualify him. What disturbs you? That he was successful at understanding how these countries work and was able to make money out of it? Personally, I think that that is a good type of knowledge and experience to have in an administration. This is especially true, where we know about it. So by all means get on with the investigation, but stop throwing muck to do political harm domestically.
The naivety of you Trumpers is astonishing. You think Flynn got that money for nothing in return. The way "those countries work" is they give you money and you sell out your country. It would be hilarious if it wan't so sad. The muck is all Trumps, he is the king of muck. When he's not grabbing ******s he's making more of it.

It's not a real loss to lose a guy who was paid to have that opinion, and hid the fact of him being paid from everyone. How do we know what he believed was best for the U.S. instead of being best for his client? We don't.
Furthermore, last I heard, we don't allow paid lobbyists for foreign interests to participate in classified national intelligence briefings that might include information of interest to their clients.
Bottom line is I can't see any defense for Flynn here. What he did was, at the least, wildly unethical.
What was unethical was lying about his activities. Sort of like Clinton.
I think we can both agree that both Presidents Clinton and Trump have glaring unethical aspects, but at least Clinton had the IQ above the level of a mentally-handicapped potato...

Flynn didn't convince anyone in the Obama administration of anything. Obama allowed Trump to decide, yes or no, because the operation if it was a go would have mostly or entirely been carried out after inauguration, and Obama therefore gave Trump the final say.
A known danger is one you can use. If and as you say "if" Flynn was working with the Russians, he might have been a valuable asset for us. And we are in deep trouble, if a couple of "Russians bragged that their man was Flynn in the W.H" and we hysterically acted upon this "bragging" to dump him?
And yes. The Putin wants to undermine the US and the other democracies around the world along with the idea of enforced rule of law in the international theater. He had Gerasimov develop a Doctrine, the concept of non-linear war and actually ordered to start waging them. We have been effectively at war with Russia for a little over a decade now. That is part of the reason why I am so surprised at the hysteria. Didn't the country realize this?
The decision to stop the operation was made on 10 January. Who was president on 10 January?

Regardless of who was President at the time, the operation was to take place when Trump was President and Flynn was asked to make the decision.

Obama, who "gave Trump the final say....because the operation if it was a go would have mostly or entirely been carried out after inauguration."
Reading comprehension is your friend.
Why did Obama pass the buck?
Common sense can be your friend.
