Florida police officer fired for the 7th time says he’ll get his job back again

A south Florida cop who can’t remember whether he’s been fired seven times or eight is out of a job again — but believes he’ll get it back, again, too.
The Daily Beast reports that Sgt. German Bosque was cut loose by the Opa-Locka police department this week after allegedly instructing a subordinate who failed to secure a crime scene where a gun went missing to file a false report.

Really?
What the hell does it take to get rid of a dirty cop?
The willingness of elected officials to prevent it/get rid of them.

The concept of having unionized workers is not invalidated by the fact that some public sector unions abuse their power. In such cases of abuse, the remedy is to reduce the power of unions, and the left is on board with such concept. It is those conservatives who oppose the BLM movement who need to rethink their position.

The unions could always rethink the strategy of continually protecting dirty cops.

If union members rejected unions they were idiots.
Is it just a coincidence that union membership declined as America changed from a producer nation to the consumer of products made overseas? In 1954, when membership was highest, damn near everything an American could want or need was produced at home. Good stuff too, top quality. "Made in Japan" was a euphemism for cheap junk.
America was best when union membership was highest. A workingman's wages was enough to buy a house, raise a family, maybe put a bright daughter or son through university. Conservatives got their way on the subject though and this is the result. Cheap junk from China has flooded the country and It's all the average hourly-paid worker can afford. It requires two working-class incomes to buy a house and raise a family.

The move to overseas labor was cooperate Americas answer to unionization.

It was a time when, faced with the prospect of giving people decent wages and benefits, cooperate America decided to break the social contract and hire people for next to slave wages overseas.

They have now reaped all the benefits, and actually have the people they abused believing the unions themselves were at fault.

The union saved his job in the past and might do it this time. Will the left ow rethink their position on unions?
Spare us the BS. Police & Fire unions are notoriously conservative and won't be going anywhere anytime soon and it will have nothing to do with the "left". As stated in another post unions helped create a prosperous middle class. Something the cons seem intent on destroying.

At the same time the US stopped investing in training of workers especially in manufacturing and turned much of them into unskilled labor to be hired and fired whenever required.

While Germany and Japan invested in there manufacturing workers ensuring they developed skills that made them better, more efficient. They maintained their skill and training, and were not laid off at the first sign of a slowdown

Which is why Toyota can introduce new vehicles without much of a problem, while Ford has to ship Explorers from its manufacturing plant to a different one to correct all the assembly faults for months after the plant started production

A strange phenomenon, how some people can be convinced to oppose their own best interests.
Know that sign at the cash register in the diner, "If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?" On the back side it says, "If you're so rich, you must be smart!" A conservative who loves to hunt and fish will oppose environmental issues because the environment is leftist and because rich, powerful people tell him to. Same with unions- rich, powerful people oppose unions, they must be intelligent and a guy who twists wrenches for a living will try to appear intelligent himself by agreeing, by opposing unions.
