Florida-based gun dealer known for supporting NRA is linked to weapon used in Paris terror attacks

One of the guns used by ISIS terrorists to slaughter 130 people in Paris was once owned by a Florida-based online firearms dealer with close ties to the NRA.

The M92 semiautomatic pistol — made by a Serbian arms factory — was imported into the U.S. by Century Arms, a Delray Beach-based company in 2013, the head of a Serbian arms factory revealed Friday to The Associated Press.

It remained unclear how the weapon made its way back across the Atlantic — and into the hands of Islamic militants.

Marc Adler, president of Allan Adler, a Boca Raton consulting firm that specializes in firearms, said legally taking a handgun out of the country involves reams of paperwork and approval by numerous federal agencies.

“The export of firearms is very heavily regulated,” Adler, who questions how the gun could have legally left the country, told the Palm Beach Post……………….

Oh yes, he is so evil.

let's kidnap his children and distill them into licorice for all the other children to enjoy as punishment.

HOW DARE HE!

so you are trying to smear the NRA based on this silly OP? what bothers you the most-that he supports the NRA (which helps defeat candidates you support) or that he actually once possessed a weapon some scum bags later got hold of

maybe someone the dealer sold the weapon to took it out of the country

until you know, this OP should have never have happened

So..............What do you think?............just another news report
\

given the source of it-just another anti gun smear job

I doubt you can claim it is a "smear" when all we have here is a news report....................

I may be more appropriate to say you find the report embarrassing........

its trying to smear the NRA-that's obvious and the NRA is the real target of the anti gun movement. just about every anti gunner on this board-and the others I am on plus every anti gun politician in the news have one thing in common other than being anti gun

they Vote Democrat

Just say it ain't so...............and it ain't so...........

Who the hill need facts.....because any news report you don't like you just say it ain't so.........I think this is what they call "DENIAL".......a rather poor defense mechanism............

Guns are made. Guns are sold. Repeat second step X number of times.

Most guns never ever reach the point of making the news, this one did.

So ONE of the guns was, at some point in the past, owned by an American gun dealer. Big whoop.

If it can be proven that he knowingly sold a gun to terrorists, that's another matter. Likely though that gun passed through dozens of hands before being smuggled into France...

Maybe the problem here is your definition of what a "smear" is.............and one we would not find in the dictionary...

Let's try not to get ahead of the news..........

BTW I don't have much use for Century Arms. I bought a rifle from a local dealer that was CAI product. the barrel was not properly spec'd for the round in question-a 545X39 and the barrel was 5.56 mm. after getting the run around from CAI they admitted that their warranty sucks because it starts the day the gun leaves their warehouse. And I noted that this rifle had been at a distributor for 9 months and then at the retailer for 3 months and he said the warranty was up. I hammered them on gun forums as did others
they got sloppy during the Obama panic in 09/09 and were turning out crap

but just about every firearms importer/wholesaler/distributor as big as CAI is supporting the NRA.

and the NRA bit had absolutely ZERO relevance to the story

it was purely there to try to smear the NRA or CAI

If it's not a smear, why is the NRA mentioned in a story that has nothing to do with the NRA? This is simply an guilt by association thread.

why don't you tell what importance the NRA angle was to the story?

There is nothing embarrassing about the report.

Unless you want to take firearms away.

Ask the Daily News...........But this may be just the beginning of the news to be reported............you might find your answer in the upcoming news

again, you felt a need to post it here. so the duty is on you to tell us why you picked this article to post that appears to attempt to smear the NRA

telling us to ask the DN is really lame

I have no idea........ask the Daily News

well you felt the need to post it here.

I think you got a white flag from Imyoda, TD.

It is a smear article or else it wouldn't have mentioned the NRA since the NRA was mentioned regardless of the absence of any involvement in anything to do with weapon or the sale of the weapon.

Are you sure?

Are you sure?

well given how you have backtracked and pretended that you don't know why you posted it here, I am sure I am sure and I am sure you haven't a clue if you are sure
