Fireball falls from the sky - do you run to it?

Do you check out the fireball?

Okay, so all weekend I've been stressing out my OnDemand service due to the heat and fire advisory in my area that has made me inclined to stay inside.

I decided to get Alien vs Predator Requim just for shits and giggles.

So my question is:

Due to all of the really, really bad things they show happening to people who run towards and check out flaming fireballs that fall from the sky (in numerous movies), would you run towards a fireball you saw fall from the sky to check it out?

[I have no idea how to set poll options. There's no option to..?]

.....No. That's what typical white people in movies do. They go towards the danger. Black guys run away and then we get eaten by horrible aliens even though throughout the entire movie we were the only voice of reason.

I'd probably check it out. Carefully of course. I'd bring Hautey 'cause if it was dangerous he'd get killed first.

You're being racist for pointing out that aliens like black meat even more then white women do. ZING!

Well, At least you admit that blacks are the voice of reason when it comes to aliens and other scary stuff....

I've seen far too many horror and bad Sci-fi movies to run towards it. I'd get the hell out of there as fast as I could.

And it's always High School kids at a party who say, "Hey, what was that evil sound coming from the basement? Let's go check it out guys!" My demographic has a bad track record to begin with.

I'm naturally inquisitive, and if there is a discovery to be made I'd like to be the first man on the scene, to claim it.

evidently you ran towards AvPR...which is at least as upsetting as being burned.

I would most definitely run away. I would report it to proper authorities, then seek shelter with guns and ammo, waiting around the town only long enough to find out if people started to disappear. As soon as that first person disappeared and/or was found dead, I would disappear too. As far away from the town as I could get with as many loved ones as I could round up.

I watched AVPR a couple of weeks ago and was yelling at the TV, "Oh what are you doing? Don't go towards it! Hello? They are so dead."

I live in the heart of the city. I'd rather watch all the buildings burn from a safe distance. Or, since monsters attack cities, get the hell outta dodge.

You better run fast, or Bob Haag and Mike Farmer will beat you to it.

Both of these guys travel thousands of miles as soon as they hear of a new meteorite fall.

Some meteorites are worth $20, $30, $50--even over $100 per gram.
