Kids are being taught that to win debate, you only need to scream the loudest.

This is not some high school debate in Wokesville, CA or something. This is the NATIONAL high school debate championship.

The topic to be debated was IMF policy. But "Team A refused to debate the assigned topic, which was the benefits/costs of the IMF because they alleged that trans people are being genocided by MAGA Republicans and that is way more important than the debate."

Even worse, Team B conceded rather than be labeled transphobic.

I gave up at 4 minutes... Without the captioning, I couldn't understand hardly a bit of what was being said and ranted about. With the captioning, very little.

I thought debating was a back and forth. Not someone blabbering at high speed like the Micro Machines guy reading from a long thought out written dialouge.

This screams lack of context. From the complete lack of reporting I can find on this except for this guy who is clearly triggered, to the complete nonsensical story(why was team A allowed to go off topic? Why did team B not present on the assigned topic? Too many simple questions), it seems highly likely there is alot more to the story than presented by triggered guy on Twitter.

I gave it less time that that. OK, I get that she's tired of the status quo and ready for more acceptance of individuality. She will probably never have such a large audience, so she's using this platform to send a message.

Happy to oblige. Why should anyone be bothered by the private lives of others who are not hurting anyone?

I wondered if she only had so much time and was trying to fit as much as possible into it before she was cut off.

She is not a good presenter, and could have seriously made use of a good editor for her script.

Regardless of that, I support gay rights.
