Hey look, lets step away from being proud of, and supporting a radical leftist group like BLM, to help your chances in November eh' Fetterman.

John Fetterman, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, recently scrubbed a mention of “Black Lives Matter” from the “issues” page of his campaign website.

Archived copies of the webpage from as recently as August 22 show the movement was previously listed as one of Fetterman’s priorities, as Fox News first reported.

The Black Lives Matter section, which had been featured on the webpage since Fetterman first launched his senatorial bid in February 2021, read: “John served as mayor of a city that’s more than 80% Black, and has championed the idea that Black lives matter since long before it became a hashtag.”

The webpage has since been reconfigured and no longer includes any mention of Black Lives Matter. It features sections on inflation, criminal justice reform, legalizing cannabis, renewable energy, immigration and other topics.

Didn’t realize OP was such a big fan of BLM

Sounds reasonable.
I support it.

Who else does/doesn't have such content on their website, and when did it appear/disappear? Does anyone care? I don't.

BLM is soooo 2020. We live two years in the future, after learning they were buying up million dollar properties and gorging themselves on the leftovers. Every left-wing money raiser is a scam.

Black Lives Matter is a worthy cause and phrase. Black Lives Matter the organization, however? It appears to be a group of grifters capitalizing on the feelings of moral outrage spurred by genuine injustice to line their own pockets. Any politician would be well-advised to be wary of them.

It's not just scrubbing BLM from his site, mr hoodieman has some seriously soft headed ideas on crime
Fetterman’s campaign has walked back his support of releasing all convicted second-degree murderers serving life without parole. He had previously said in a taped interview that he wanted a conversation that “would free close to 1,200 people.” At the time, there were 1,166 people in Pennsylvania serving life sentences without parole for second-degree murder. Fetterman’s campaign now says he does not support what he explicitly said he supported.

But Fetterman is otherwise proud of supporting the release of murderers. In 2019, the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons (which Fetterman chairs) unanimously approved the release of Charles Goldblum. Goldblum and an accomplice, Charles Miller, had lured George Wilhelm into a parking garage in 1976, where Miller stabbed him 26 times. Goldblum later admitted that he and Miller burned down his restaurant and that Wilhelm knew about their involvement. While Goldblum was out on bond in 1976 awaiting trial, he also attempted to have Miller killed so he could not testify against him.

Fetterman also voted to free Wayne Covington, a man who shot and killed 18-year-old George Rudnycky while attempting to rob him for drug money. Covington pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. Fetterman couches his soft-on-crime stance with talk of how no one should stay in prison for life if they “did not take a life,” but it turns out he also means it for those who did take a life.

Then it's a good thing you don't have to worry about him representing you.

Senators do much more then simple constituent services
Then send some money to Oz, he seems supremely qualified. /s

He accurately figures that too many people are too ignorant to understand the movement..............kind of like "defund the police"....................The dems all too frequently assume people have brains = big error

Polls show that Mr. F. will win, especially when the votes of that peaceful city of Philadelphia start rolling in.

RCP has him Fetterman with a lead of 4.4 and ranks the race as a toss-up.
The race has tightened a bit lately but, as of now, it still appears to be advantage Fetterman. We'll see if it continues to tighten or if it gets more solidified for Fetterman.

To be fair, reforming the ****ed up criminal justice system is a major part of what Black Lives Matter is/was all about.

Eh, the “organization” isn’t really an organization. It’s more like 50 organizations
