That's deliberate dishonesty on their part, then, because the behavior in the OP article had nothing to do with people requesting their own removal from the rolls.
In addition, despite being shown otherwise, that person also claimed that existing programs can go up to the day of the election, which is specifically forbidden by the act.
It specifically states it can.
This idea that unlawfully registered voters get a free pass to vote as long as they were not caught after Aug 1c of an election year is without foundation.
