I understand your point. We aren't detectives here, but the evidence is pretty incriminating. Even well beyond that, if the kid was white, do you think Zimmerman would be behind bars?

Maybe, maybe not.

I do think that if Zimmerman were a black man playing "cops and robbers" against a white kid, he'd be in jail awaiting trial. (Rightly so, but he should be now.)

I'm not changing the race of Zimmerman. Thunder is correct in saying that if the kid were white, the crime wouldn't have been committed because Zimmerman is a racist (judging from his racist 911 call).

The stupid comment above would make sense if the Sandford police weren't as craptastic as they are. There would be no talk of trial if it were not for people like me and many on this board that raised a stink. Also, this all would be swept under the rug if the news stories you appear to be bitching about wasn't brought forth. So, please spare me your short sighted commentary as it has absolutely nothing to do with anything this thread or the topic being discussed is about. It's only a swipe at my comment... probably because you want the guy to get away with murder. Literally.

If the kid was white, none of the Libbos would even care. It's doubtful that the mainstream media would even pick up the story and you can bet your ass that the "leaders" of the black community wouldn't give a rat's ass about some dead white boy.

Let's go ahead and accept the reality that the only reason this is a brew-ha-ha is because this boy was black.

First, there has to be sufficient evidence to make an arrest. That damn Constitution! It gets in the way, everytime.

There seems to be sufficient evidence to make an arrest. The 911 calls at least sound like he went chasing after the kid, got him cornered and then shot while the kid was calling out for help. If there's other evidence, let's see it. If there's other evidence, let's put it before a jury. Instead you're just going around screaming "reverse racism." Which is ironic, considering...

Yep. Which is my point. Do they actually have enough evidence to pursue such a case?

The feds are involved to "calm" things down, as they can't pursue a federal charge of murder.
