It's an issue to you because you're sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.
You're giving an irrelevant argument.
If members in this forum simply know - and can tell - where and when their argument is appropriate..........................we won't have unnecessary interruptions such as this.
I don't want this thread to be derailed by ignorant responses.
The New Testament is the fulfillment of the Old Testament with the first arrival of the MESSIAH.You know it's true, so which is the 'real' Bible? Also, if you don't agree with what others say, they are false profits? You can ignore me all you wish, as many others do because I hit you and them with truth.
The Old Testament wasn't too harsh, it expressed the fact that GOD is also the GOD of judgement. https://www.gotquestions.org/God-different.htmlRighto, putting it simply, the old testament was too harsh, the new testament made god a more loving caring god. I've always heard you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
No, for the Jewish people, the Messiah has not yet arrived. Judaism believes in the coming of a Messiah who will usher in a Messianic Age of peace and redemption, but it is widely held that he is yet to come. The belief in the Messiah is a central tenet of Jewish faith, and Jews continue to pray for and anticipate his arrival. The New Testament is the fulfillment of the Old Testament with the first arrival of the MESSIAH.
Do Christians use the term messiah?

For some of them --- well, maybe most of them ----- BUT DIFFIDENTLY NOT ALL --------- Jews are still waiting for their MESSIAH... However, they apparently are waiting for some messiah they created in their heads, and not the ONE GOD planned to save the entire fallen Universe. Their imagined messiah is so much smaller than such a MESSIAH could ever truly be. And JESUS fulfilled the prophecies, and came at the correct time in historically. CHRIST comes from the Latin CHRISTUS, which means MESSIAH ----- same word different language. But yes, CHRISTIANS know the term MESSIAH.No, for the Jewish people, the Messiah has not yet arrived. Oh my, how horrible. His chosen people missed him the first time around and to this very day the Jews still think the Messiah has yet to arrive. In other words his chosen people didn't know your truth and that's why they missed his first arrival? I can't believe people argue over this stuff.he is yet to come; the Jews missed him the first time, except for those who converted over to the Truth.
the Second Time, Jesus will come in full Glory and stop the Armageddon war. he will rule the whole world from Jerusalem and the christians coming back with him from heaven.
that's good. takes a lot of faith to believe to the end. we christians try to help them over to the Truth, but there is a whole bunch of stubbornness among them. they have been educated from The Faith instead.
some times. God has many names and we should attempt to use them.
.
So God messed up with the original?Because there is a New Covenant

To each his ownYou are indeed an expert in myths and superstitions.
What a bunch of nonsense.no. Salvation was promised in the old testament and fulfilled in the new testament.
in all of this, it is a walk of Faith with God.........every day.

There are many truths in the bible. What's your definition of "useful" truth? What useful proven or provable truth exists within the Bible?
they apparently are waiting for some messiah they created in their heads
and not the ONE GOD planned to save the entire fallen Universe
God is in the saving business.
Meanwhile, scripture states we
Maybe some factual knowledge that originated in the bible that only a god could have known. There are many truths in the bible. What's your definition of "useful" truth?
Hope for what? Everyone will believe as you do?the early church in Acts was mostly Jewish, but just a Remanent of Jews believed. par for the course, most people do not believe, and the ones that do tend to drop away leaving just a handful left.
the Jews will get it second time around, but they have to go thru a lot of Tribulation first before it becomes obvious that Jesus is the Savior.
all of Life tends to work that way. the Truth is out there, but most walk by it as if nothing was there.....
except for the Wise.
as long as there is Life there is hope Bongs.
blessings.

Unlike the Christians who believe a guy named Jesus was also a god. The correct time historically? Sounds like the end times, they are a comin' you know and have been for hundreds and hundreds of years. For some of them --- well, maybe most of them ----- BUT DIFFIDENTLY NOT ALL --------- Jews are still waiting for their MESSIAH... GOD still loves HIS Chosen people even though HE needs to provoke them to win them back...Oh my, how horrible. His chosen people missed him the first time around and to this very day the Jews still think the Messiah has yet to arrive. Well think about it. Within a very short time after JESUS was crucified and arose and assented the temple at Jerusalem was burnt to the ground, the stones all cast down and totally destroyed -- except for a foundation wall left by GOD for the Jews to cry at. And all its citizens dispersed. It must have seemed like the end times. And the Jews have been running ever since. But now, Israel has been resurrected ---- who would have imagined (though predicted in the Bible). Things are happening faster and faster ------- the future is upon us all...Unlike the Christians who believe a guy named Jesus was also a god. The correct time historically? Sounds like the end times, they are a comin' you know and have been for hundreds and hundreds of years.
Hope of seeing the MESSIAH in JESUS of Nazareth ---- though HE was born in Bethlehem of Judea.Hope for what? Everyone will believe as you do?
Mine is discovered throughout the Word of GOD.In other words, just like your Messiah—created in your head—and that’s all.
Destruction.Quite a myth you have there. Save the entire fallen universe from what?
