Facemasks are hurting students

Those guidelines are there for a reason. They are based on actual health and safety concerns.

People should only do things that are "rules"?
It is called personal choice.
I don't care what you do, the point remains, you do not know the rules on mask requirements in your state by your state govt.

Now go back to your hand waving and off point non-sequiturs.
I’m sorry that I stated the only place that he goes on any regular basis that still has a mask mandate rather than quoting the list of all the places the governor’s edict covers.

We don’t go to prisons, we don’t take public transportation, we aren’t in a homeless shelter, etc - so those don’t apply to us.

Kids absolutely do not worry about masks as much as some of their brain dead, ignorant parents do.

Most Children are smarter and more resilient than anti maskers ever will be.

It's called that is still the reason that your son is confused. You claimed it was because he had to wear it at school but not other places, but that is because of your "personal choice" to not follow actual medical guidelines, not because the school is in the wrong, as you implied.

This is like claiming because you can go out to the store or other places in public while sick and coughing, after having tested positive for Covid, that the school or someone's work is in the wrong for forcing you to stay home, not allowing you in there while sick due to their rules about not wanting sick people around others there. There may not be a rule against something, but that doesn't mean you are right in doing that where there isn't a rule.

The point I addressed had nothing to do with "he", you stated NJ had no rules on indoor mask reqs, you are wrong, I showed how you are wrong, accept it, correct yourself and move on, bird.

My kids put on their masks without any issue at all. When we went down to FL, they normally had their masks on as they were getting out of the car, regardless of where we parked, and before we left the hotel room (went down for a wake for their grandfather).

Death and/or serious Illness.

You might have heard there is a pandemic.
Hasn’t impacted us other than financially, and even then, we weathered that storm quite well.

Next month, the last remnant which is masks in schools, goes away.

My kids never cared, never complained, were never bothered by it, whatsoever.

I feel for these kids who have to grow up with complete nut jobs as parents.

The "ITS ALL ABOUT ME" card.

An oldie but a goodie.

There was a time in the US when people did everything they could to preserve the lives of their fellow Americans.

Nowadays wearing a simple mouth covering is too onerous.

Pathetic.

My responsibility is my family. Not anyone else’s.

I can’t choose their menu, I don’t know what their health conditions are - whether they exercise…I have no decisions in what junk they put in their bodies with processed crap food, I’m not the one who buys their kids video games to park in front of.

My responsibility is my family, no one else’s.

Me, me, me, me, me.....

All about me.

Mine me, me, mine....

Free to infect and be infected.

The American way!

/End sarcasm
My family has zero underlying risk factors. Because we live a healthy life.

We make choices that have led to us having no underlying health risks.

Other people make different choices, live much lazier lives, don’t make years of good decisions about their health.

I’m not inconveniencing myself or my family because someone else ate too many cheeseburgers and can’t be bothered to shut off the video games.

Not sorry about that. They made their choices for years, choices have consequences.

are you comparing an open wound from surgery when a doc is hovering overtop and stopping droplets
to a virus aerosol infiltration of a surgical mask?
A surgeon working on anyone with a contagious disease-like HIV/AIDS for example-will be masked up to protect both him/her and the patient.

And if your 'personal choice' hurts someone else? Their problem, not yours, because only the individual matters. Is that about right?
