According to the Downdetector service, the problem has skyrocketed in the last hour. On Twitter, several users write about many strange posts that appear on the timeline. Several users write that they receive loads of posts from people who post on various celebrities' timelines on Facebook. "What's going on with the Facebook feed?! I see every post for groups and pages I don't care about,” writes one user on Twitter. Technology expert Trevor Long writes on Twitter that he believes Facebook is trying to change back the algorithm that controls what people see in their feeds.

My facebook feed on PC looks absolutely normal.

Edit: ditto on my iphone. Apparently they have either got it fixed already, or I am lucky.
 
My only interaction with Facebook is when a loved one asks me my opinion about a post.

Facebook can be handy used right. I find out about tours and new releases from bands I like, upcoming releases from book publishers I like, and lots of pictures of pretty young Asian women.

I just Spotify for the first and probably should read more.

Mostly I do book on tape now and have lately been entertained by the adventures of Drizzt Do’Urden
 
Facebook has had big problems for years. The Cambridge Analytica scandal should really have woke people up. Remove your accounts, they will sell your data to anyone for cash.
 
Maybe Elon can buy it after he buys Twitter. Or not.
