Maybe he is the man with no cards. A few months back, in an interview, Macron admitted that everything armaments related that France is producing this year is going to that Dien Bien Phu called Ukraine; hoping that the unfortunate President of Dien Bien Phu on the Black Sea will be understanding and not ask the impossible of him. The sanctions long ago lost their sting. The 17th package. 17th package? 17! That's insanity! Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. The 17th was rolled out with much fanfare but hardly made any waves. The 18th was stillborn. Sen Graham's bone crushers never took root, they remained the hallucinations of an aging neocon. But the most important card of all, the Joker in the Pack if you will, remained elusive.
Clearly Macron is a man with no cards. So why did he call Putin?
