He stated that Pfizer is on the last stretch of testing whether the product of vaccine for covid is safe and effective and in sometime in October all their testing will be completed. He is so confident in the product they have produced that Pfizer has already started the process of getting it approved by the federal government. He believes before the end of the year their vaccine will be ready to disburse.

All this was made possible thanks to Trump who in January had started Operation Warp Speed reaching out to the private sector pharmaceuticals cutting bureaucratic red tape so he could fund multiple companies to produce an effective, safe vaccine.

My concerns are for our first responders and medical personnel. Many of them will be mandated to get the vaccine. They will end up being the guinea pigs.

There is a reason for 'red tape' on medical treatments, medicines, vaccines :doh Should we just trash all other pharmaceutical testing procedures as well? It's one thing to take care of paperwork to certify a drug or vaccine ahead of time...it's another to sign off on that paperwork before testing is complete or if testing was shortchanged in the rush.

It all goes back to being unprepared and relying on foreign supplies instead of making sure the United States had a large stockpile and manufactured our own PPE here in United States instead of outsourcing it.

The fact that All these big stores were able to stay open safely proves beyond any doubt that there was never any need to shut down but to act responsibly. Nothing has changed with how deadly this virus is or how contagious but now it is safe for me to get a hair cut. The casinos are open and this virus is still the same virus. The same virus that the left destroyed our economy over because now it is OK. Well It will be OK once the left had used this pandemic to regain political power. Clearly you have no clue what happened. These infected patients were ordered back to the overcrowded conditions in our nursing homes. Read up on the facts and then we can discuss it. Plus blaming the overworked health care workers for what our leaders did is pathetic. They were risking their lives and doing their best with the deplorable conditions our failed local leaders provided for our elderly. The same local leaders that failed to weed out the bad cops. In Michigan Casinos were only allowed to reopen July or August with a reduced capacity of only 15 percent.

Hair and nail salons are open with reduced capacity and with appointments only.

Masks also must be worn.

Our non essential businesses were not allowed to reopen ever with reduced capacity until after we learned that masks helped when used in inside spaces.

A true leader wouldn't have deliberately lied to you, knowing the pandemic was deadly, and downplaying it at every opportunity while the virus raged on and he did nothing. What's your excuse for that? Trump couldn't lead a troop of boy scouts.
Every other advanced country with both liberal and conservative governments has seen rapidly declining rates of infections and death, and we also saw draconian lockdown measures put in place, hurting our economies badly.
