Even Children With No Symptoms Can Spread COVID. CDC Report Suggests.

Even children with no symptoms can spread Covid-19, CDC report shows

In case anyone thought differently.

Read the link first.

Asymptomatic kids have been found to have lasting lung damage too.

Health officials worry about long-term effects of COVID-19 on kids

"A warning from Doctor Alina Alonso, the director of the Department of Health Palm Beach County: Just because you don’t see any COVID-19 symptoms in a child doesn’t mean damage hasn’t been done.

“And while many of these especially younger children are asymptomatic when you take x-rays of their lungs, down in Miami and other places across the country, they’re seeing that there is damage to the lungs in these asymptomatic children.”

In Michigan Casinos were only allowed to reopen July or August with a reduced capacity of only 15 percent.

Hair and nail salons are open with reduced capacity and with appointments only.

Masks also must be worn.

Our non essential businesses were not allowed to reopen ever with reduced capacity until after we learned that masks helped when used in inside spaces.

This could have been done in February. It was already established by essential businesses that people were not contracting the virus if steps are taken to stop the spread and people act responsibly. Of course that would not fit into the agenda of making a disaster of our country in an attempt to convince the ignorant to vote for their party.

A true leader wouldn't have deliberately lied to you, knowing the pandemic was deadly, and downplaying it at every opportunity while the virus raged on and he did nothing. What's your excuse for that? Trump couldn't lead a troop of boy scouts.
Every other advanced country with both liberal and conservative governments has seen rapidly declining rates of infections and death, and we also saw draconian lockdown measures put in place, hurting our economies badly. So what makes America uniquely unable to get a handle on the virus? I'll tell you; adversarial political parties which consider scoring points more important than a nation's health.

Most other countries did not have our democratic party that was more interested in a coup to regain power rather than doing their job. Trump went to work on a vaccine which is a solution to the pandemic. The left needlessly destroyed our economy and failed to protect our most vulnerable in my state.

Perhaps you have your timeline wrong. Michigan passed the EO to stay home and stay safe On March 23 almost 2 weeks after our first cases tested postive on March 10.

Even then we a high number of deaths.

Our Governor was very proactive. We were one of the last upper midwest states to have any cases. On March 10 Governor Whitmer called a state of Emergency . She said all K - 12 Schools were to temporarily close March 13 for 3 weeks. ( actually the ended up remaining closed for the rest of the school year.)

Still Covid cases were climbing rapidly.

Two weeks later she had non essential workers stay b home and stay safe .

Here’s a timeline of cases:

March 10: Michigan’s first two cases of COVID-19 are confirmed in patients from Wayne and Oakland counties. Whitmer declares a state of emergency in Michigan. It is the first of 32 executive orders she will enact in a span of 24 days.

March 13: President Trump declares a national emergency. By executive order, Whitmer closes Michigan schools and prohibits gatherings of more than 250 people until April 5. In a separate order, Whitmer restricts access to healthcare facilities, nursing homes and juvenile justice facilities. Confirmed cases in Michigan: 25.

March 14: Confirmed cases in Michigan: 33.

March 16:. Confirmed cases in Michigan: 53.

March 17: Confirmed cases in Michigan: 65.

March 18: Confirmed cases 80.

March 19: Confirmed cases in Michigan: 324

March 20: Confirmed cases in Michigan: 549.

March 21: Confirmed cases in Michigan: 786.

March 22: Confirmed cases in Michigan: 1,035.

March 23: Whitmer issues a stay-at-home order for Michigan residents except for those who work in essential industries or are obtaining critical supplies such as food and gas. The order also prohibits gatherings beyond the people living in a single household, with certain exceptions. Michigan hospitals begin to fill with coronavirus patients amid equipment shortages.
Confirmed cases in Michigan: 1,328.

March 24: Confirmed cases in Michigan: 1,791.

The date of infection is irrelevant. The international airports In NY and LA are going to see the first cases. Then cities like NY with subways will be hit hardest at first. The East coast took the brunt because of population density and the travel between cities. Our are was hit first and hard because of all the idiots in NY and NJ who fled to our state instead staying put and quarantine.

Non of that matters because it just failed local leadership that should have taken the necessary steps each state needs to take to protect the people. Montana vs NYC have completely different problems to address. Either way essential businesses like Amazon and the Post Office proved beyond any doubt that shutting down was never necessary just adapting to the situation. I have been going to my barber for months now without incident not because the virus is gone but because we can act responsibly. The destruction of our economy was purely political by the left to attack Trump after their coup failed.

The bureaucratic red tape I mentioned has absolutely nothing to do with the rigid protocol in place in regard to creating and testing a vaccine. Furthermore it is ridiculous to think that a company like Pfizer would present a vaccine that was not safe or effective. To do so would jeopardize and ruin their company.

Those companies have gigantic pockets and are demanding liability protection from the govt for the vaccines.

And what red tape were you referring to?

This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

Amazon?

Amid coronavirus, he joined Amazon. 2 weeks later, he died - Los Angeles Times.

Eighth Amazon warehouse worker dies from COVID-19.

46 postal workers died from Covid 19 before the end of April .

our President knew how deadly this thing was/is and is STILL pretending it's not.

what the hell are his Republican disciples supposed to do? cross him?

Meanwhile over 198,000 died in the USA.

About 40 percent since May after we were aware that bipap and high flow oxygen which are not dependent on sedation helped patients more often than vents and that masks helped slow the spread of the Covid 19 virus and stay from crowds.

Why are so many not wearing masks ?

Because "freedom!" and the absurd associated 'I'm an American, nobody tells me what to do', arrogant stupidity. Those are the dangerous Covidiots everyone should avoid having anything to do with. If you see one, cross to the other side of the road.

Stupid post belongs in a conspiracy forum somewhere that Limbaugh is probably lurking. "I said to my people, slow down the testing please". If that wasn't a cynical political ploy you tell me what is. Trump constantly downplaying a deadly pandemic so his 'numbers' look better? Give me a break from your outrage; it's embarrassing.

Nursing home deaths occurred because social distancing could not be done by the over crowded conditions that exist in our local run homes. Have you ever been to any of the nursing homes and witnessed the deplorable conditions that have been going on. That is the fault of our local leaders not Trump. The virus did come to our nursing homes. Our democratic leaders required infected patients be sent back to our nursing homes. They killed our elderly and most vulnerable who unfortunately made the mistake of becoming dependent our local government which failed to protect them.

If people would do a LITTLE research into the Nursing home thing they would find out ( most of them are talking about NY, and Como ) that the people that were sent to the Nursing homes were suppose to be " RECOVERING " ( over it ) and the Nursing homes were required to keep then away from other people for at least 14 days
But they haven't bothered to look into it all they want to do is blame the Dem. Governors
as I have asked many times before what do they think a Republican Governor would have done at that time if thy were in the same situation these Dem. Governors were,
with Not much info on how to treat the CV , or even how to keep it from spreading , and then the lies out of Trump and DC and conflicting info from both DC and the CDC
So I ask again what do you think Republican Governors would have done under the same situation
Have a nice day

A coup is exactly what Pelosi and Schiff were doing instead of preparing for the pandemic.

The leaders were had no idea of the over crowded conditions and under staffing of our nursing homes that has been going on under their leadership for decades. Clearly their being clueless is Trumps fault. Typical democratic it is everyone else's fault answer.

"I don't take responsibility at all". Remind us, who said that?

The time line is Relevant because of the timing of Trumps lies and the conflicting info out of DC and the CDC
back in Jan. the CDC was saying this was serious and we need to take steps to stop it, in Feb they sent people to places to watch and monitor people coming in from over seas. ( confine them if needed and track them )
and at the same time Trump is down playing it as if it was nothing to worry about and is just going to go away
well on March 1 the first reported case is registered in NY , by Mar, 5th there was 22 reported cases, then by the 10th there was 173, and by the end of March there was over 75,795 cases and a lot of it was because of being such a densely populated area, and not having a lot of info about the CV , what to do, or how to treat it.
and maybe IF there had been some info about just how bad this could be back then they could have contained it and people would have not been traveling all over the place like they were use to
Have a nice day

Here is a timeline of what happened and when
if you read it you will see what happened back in Jan/ Feb and early March
A timeline of Cuomo'''s and Trump'''s responses to coronavirus outbreak - ABC News
you can see that the CDC was saying one thing and Trump is saying something else
so Just what do you think these Dem. Governors were suppose to believe.
Maybe IF Trump had listened to the CDC and took this seriously they wouldn't have had conflicting info

He should not take responsibility for the failures of our local leaders. They should.

And who do you think they take their leadership cues from? If US politicians spent less time bickering and blame-shifting, and more time working together to tackle this hideous disease, leaving aside politically motivated distractions, America would be in a far better place today.

Trump is working on the vaccine. The left is shutting down the country and destroying our economy. I guess they are working together.

I agree.

Michigan’s first 2 confirmed cases were on March 10.

Michigan had the Presidential primary 2 days before hundreds of people crowding in polling places perhaps spreading the Covid 19 virus.

When contract traced they found out one of Michigan’s first 2 cases had come into the Detroit airport on March 1st.

The Local news was warning anyone who had been at the airport on March 1st to watch for symptoms or if they felt ill if to let their Dr know right away.
