Can you? Wasting valuable time going to places of worship,and adoring stupid pieces of wood, what if it turns out after death there is nothing, and this is the only life we have? Can you afford to spend countless hours worshipping a fictional character?

Are you kidding?That is the perfect anlogy.If I was looking for terrorist, which group of people would I serach for terrorist suspects?Would I search the 90 year old grandmothers from China,US,Britian or what ever country those 90 year old grandmothers come from?Explain to us all what sense would it make searching a 90 year old grandmother as airport.
 

I really can't stand that argument. Now religion is more of an insurance policy rather than spiritual salvation.

You make it seem as if Arabs are the "Terrorist Section". A policy put into place by our government that says something as prejudice and stupid as that only alienates more moderate Arabs and makes them more likely to hate America. We call it a war on terror, but terror isn't in the Middle East. Terror is here at home. Hatred is in the Middle East. We fight fear at home and we fight hatred abroad, that is how we win. You do neither by killing people.

No its not for people of faith.....We know what happens when you die.....I am just throwing out a hypothetical situation.........
 

I have a hypothetical situation for you....If you were getting on a plane and there were 5 people in line in front of you to go through security 1 eighty year old lady and 4 young arab men and you saw the 4 young men at the ticket counter biy one way tickets to their destination......Well the SG searches the little old lady and lets the 4 arab men go through with out a thurough search......

Would you feel comfortable in boarding that flight?

If there is a God, it is fairly obvious that he left the ball in humanities' court a long time ago. It's time for us to change the world. God gave it to us, why the hell should he keep wiping our asses?

Right now young muslim seem to be the only terrorist out there flying planes into buildings and blowing themselves up.I do not see any non-muslims blowing themselves up and flying planes into building.


Just like a leftist to lable anything they do not like as prejudice and stupid.And what does serching young muslims at airports and other high profile places have to do with killing people?

It's a terrible argument to even attempt to make, and it doesn't speak much for your intelligence in either an academic or theological study of religion.

The comment on killing was a comment on the entire war on terror which I unapologetically digressed to.

When you alienate the key demographic of terrorist recruits why do you get angry when you see a terrorist attack?

Well, that's our problem. We have always been left to ourselves. Why do you think that is? IMO, in this vast universe there has to be greater intelligence out there, but not a "supernatural" intelligence. You have to remember, all the authors of the Bible were indeed primitive. They could only describe things likened to their environment. If they seen even a simple flashlight turn on, they would think its a miracle. For example, if you landed in a simple helicopter 2,000 years ago, you would, in the eyes of the people then, be performing a miracle.

No, of course not. But it is rather naive to think that we are the only inhabitants in this universe. We might be the only intelligence in this galaxy, but I believe that there are an infinite number of inhabited planets out there. I think some are less advanced then us, some are far superior.

Why do I get angry when I see a terrorist attack?Because the terrorist are deliberately targeting innocent civilians,because I know there are self-hating Americans who justify their actions, and because I know that there are morons who would do nothing about this because the believe war solves nothing.

I think they are who we should aim to coscilliate with and integrate into American society.


No one is trying to justify the terrorists actions. We seek to know why and how they could hate us so much that they would commit to such acts as they do.
