Of course. As has been proven in the US, a country without a common language is a country without a culture. It isn't even a country.

Someone could try to force French on me but since I already failed it in highschool. I wish I could at least speak Spanish. Such a beautiful Latin language of love.

a nation needs a common language. this idea that the US can survive being carved up into dozens of ethnic polities and still function as a nation is absurd.

I highly recommend it.I've seriously considered moving to Spain. Lax on cannabis rules, cheap easy living, scenic beauty and wonderful society.
