Employees Terrified of ICE Raids Are Failing to Show Up at Work

more lies.

you have no credibility.
This you cry whenever an obviously true point which you don't like is raised.

Fact: you put a convicted felon in the white house.
Yeah, right. So goes the left's disingenuous and demanded push narrative.
🥱

Which makes your hysteria about the fact that some of the people that picked the vegetables in your salad committed a low level misdemeanor years ago in order to get that job ironic.
Hysteria? Yet another disingenuous and demanded push narrative.
Funny that you think that enforcement of existing immigration laws is 'hysteria'.

When targeting hardened criminals and finding non-hardened criminals, I suppose you'd expect those non-hardened criminals (but yet criminals in they've violated existing immigration laws) simply be set free?
They're not targeting hardened criminals. The government is changing folks' status and they're arresting them when they show up to court as part of the process. I.e. these are folks following the rules and the admin pulls their legal status and then arrests them as low hanging fruit.

No your comnent was a lie.
Apparently that which you disagree with is your version of what a lie is.
Well, sorry to burst your bubble and inform you, that it doesn't work that way.

Quote me saying that if you disafree

It is a fact.
I'm unfortunately all too familiar with the left's 'facts', which in reality are more an ideological interpretation of the reality that the left wants to have, hence their promoting it and pushing it so hard.

Yes maybe they should just close up their farms and let us all starve. That is what many of us deserve.
The farming industry completely changed when WW2 started and never went back.

You are allowing them to illegally be in the country, and employers can pay them less because they know they can't complain because they get deported if they get caught. Is'n't that the same as supporting that policy?

Please look up the difference between active and passive verbs. "Support" is a passive verb, a weak one at that.

Apparently that which you disagree with is your version of what a lie is.
Well, sorry to burst your bubble and inform you, that it doesn't work that way.
You are attributing a position to ne that isnt mine, first of all, which is why you cant quote me saying it, and secondly Biden dud not have defacto open border policies. That, in itself is a lie.
I'm unfortunately all too familiar with the left's 'facts',

it is a fact that Trump is a convicted felon.

it is a fact that you all put him in the white house.

it is a fact that your reaction to the fact that some of the people that picked the vegetables in your salad committed low level misdemeanors to get those jobs is ironic, give. That you put a felon in the white house.
which in reality are more an ideological interpretation of the reality that the left wants to have, hence their promoting it and pushing it so hard.
Facts are facts.

I call Bullshit on that assertion.
Biden had implemented de-facto open borders policies, how else would you explain the 20 million, or so, migrants permitted to enter the country?
You cant quote me supporting such a policy, and no, the Biden admin did not have a defacto open borders policy..

20 million migrants were not permitted to enter the country.

Its lies on top of lies with you.

What happened to your patriotism?

You are allowing them to illegally be in the country, and employers can pay them less because they know they can't complain because they get deported if they get caught. Is'n't that the same as supporting that policy?

Well I mean, while they are on site, why not bring police with them to arrest the employers, since we know damn well they are employing said illegals?

You cant quote me supporting such a policy, and no, the Biden admin did not have a defacto open borders policy..
You seem to be confused as to what de-facto means.

De facto (/deɪ ˈfæktoʊ, di -, də -/, day FAK-toh, dee -, də -;[1] Latin: [deː ˈfaktoː] ⓘ; lit. 'from fact') describes practices that exist in reality, regardless of whether they are officially recognized by laws or other formal norms.[2][3] It is commonly used to refer to what happens in practice, in contrast with de jure ('from law'). The distinction between the two is significant in law, governance, language, standards, and social relationships, influencing policies, rights, and international relations.

Highlighting for you "describes practices that exist in reality, regardless of whether they are officially recognized by laws or other formal norms"

This is exactly accurate and applicable to Biden's border policies, regardless of badly you want to deny it.

20 million migrants were not permitted to enter the country.
I made a fair guess, but I was a little high.

Per Grox: Please cite articles which detail how many immigrants entered the country during the Biden administration.

Conclusion
The most reliable estimates suggest:
  • 10.3–11 million total encounters at U.S. borders from January 2021 to October 2024, with 7.2 million at the southwest border between ports of entry.
  • 3.6–5.8 million migrants released or paroled into the U.S., many awaiting immigration hearings.
  • 1.8 million gotaways (estimated), contributing to an unknown number of unauthorized entrants.
  • Over 2 million legal entries via parole and CBP One programs.
  • The unauthorized immigrant population grew by 0.5–2.4 million, reaching 11–12.6 million by 2022–2023.
We can argue about the number, it is statistics after all, but this doesn't change the fact that Biden did in institute a de-facto (per the provided definition above) open border policies, with the accompanying reduction in vetting those migrants, causing legitimate national security concerns, such as its been reported that the Biden administration granted entry to 1,000 Iranians migrants, some of which have now been connected to Hamas and other terrorist groups.

Lets just hope that there isn't another 9/11 incident from these Iranians, as if there is, that would fall right in front of Biden's and the Democrat's feet.

Its lies on top of lies with you.
Denials upon denials of facts and realities which you don't and can't accept, yet are there.

What happened to your patriotism?
There's nothing wrong with my patriotism. Its just fine.

That you appear to believe that voicing one's objection to the government policies as being un-patriotic smells of the ideological totalitarianism you want to institute, where all ideologies and dissenting opinions and political positions are silenced. Might I suggest that you'd find this, and would perhaps enjoy it, in North Korea?

You seem to be confused as to what de-facto means.
Not confused at all.

Fact: Biden did not haveca defacto open door poict.

Most deported immediately.
  • 3.6–5.8 million migrants released or paroled into the U.S., many awaiting immigration hearings.
Which means they met the legal requirement to enter the assylum process , or another program.

They have a right to due process.

That is Biden upholding thevrule of law
  • 1.8 million gotaways (estimated), contributing to an unknown number of unauthorized entrants.
So, no where near 20 million.
  • Over 2 million legal entries via parole and CBP One programs.
Good.

  • The unauthorized immigrant population grew by 0.5–2.4 million, reaching 11–12.6 million by 2022–2023.
Lol.

you were way the **** off. 20 million. Lol.

And a lot of that has to do with the fact that tgere was pent up demand for labor as the economy opened back up from covid........not any policy of Biden's

seriously dide put your bigotry aside and think it through.
We can argue about the number, it is statistics after all, but this doesn't change the fact that Biden did in institute a de-facto (per the provided definition above) open border policies,

No he abdolutely did not.

Dont ways fall for the lies. Your country deserves better.
There's nothing wrong with my patriotism. Its just fine.
Sure seems like you have forgotton Amerixan values.
That you appear to believe that voicing one's objection to the government policies as being un-patriotic
Not why i implied you patriotism is questionable.

its because of all the lies you fall for.

do better. Your country deserves better.

The left. The members here who insist illegals pick their produce.
The reason that business owners/farmers (many MAGAs) employ migrant workers is because they show up for work, work long hours, work 6 or 7 days per week and do it for low pay and/or low benefits (and many are paid in cash I'm sure).

It's no different than huge business owners who moved their factories from the North to the South (so they could pay people less) and then moved their factories from the South to China (so they could pay people less).

It's nothing more than business owners/CEOs (again, many of them MAGAs) cutting costs as much as possible.

But don't worry, since robots and AI will take over (because business owners/CEOs have to continue to cut costs/benefits) our kids/grandkids/great-grandkids won't have any work to do which then also means that their lives will have no meaning. They (mostly) all will have to receive checks from governments around the glove.

Greed is pretty cool, huh?

That’s a lot of unnecessary words to say you want field slaves.

That’s a lot of unnecessary words to say you want field slaves.
Yeah, they make more than they can make at home, want the work, retire in good shape financially and they're slaves.

Let me guess, you're for bringing back the names of Confederate Generals to put on our statues, right?

By the way, I'm glad you admitted that the business owners/CEOs want what you call "slaves". Sweet admission.

Do you want them to call you massa while they’re picking your avacados?

Do you want them to call you massa while they’re picking your avacados?
Evidently that's what the, many maga, business owners and CEOs want. Because of greed.

Why don't you guys just go after those business owners. That stops the entire problem. Make them pay more money for labor and more money for benefits. Then they can just jack up the cost of everything and pass it on to you.

I suppose, if by "de-facto" you mean "Fox News propaganda bullshit."
So you are in denial of
  • the video coverage shot at various border crossings showing multiple thousands of migrants lining up to get into the USA.
  • Biden himself in campaign speeches rang the migrants 'dinner bell', encouraging them to flood the border
  • That the Biden administration was flying these migrants all over the country to their chosen cities
  • That the Biden administration pulled any number of maneuvers and excuses to provide pardons, exceptions, etc. etc. to large swaths of migrants not legally in this country
I guess that's good to know that you are in denial of so much which you don't like.

High-profile immigration raids are scaring off workers and leaving employers unsure of how they’ll manage without them.

The Los Angeles garment district is emptied out. Texas dairy farmers say workers aren’t showing up to milk cows. An Idaho onion grower already struggling to find enough crop hands says his labor supply is only getting worse.

And in Ventura, California, Deputy Mayor Doug Halter said that after nearby immigration raids targeted day laborers outside of Home Depots, all the Latinos seemed to have disappeared from one of the retailer’s outposts near him. Walking through the aisles the other day, from what he could tell, there were only White people. “If you know this area, you’ll know that is abnormal.”

So you're telling me the people who aren't legally allowed to work are working?

Now do the same thing but it's voting. You see the problem.

So they're in the country illegally.
They're working illegally.
But when someone says they'll vote illegally you call it bullshit and a conspiracy theory.

Yet the first two that shouldn't exist not only do exist but you want them to exist.

Yet you want us to believe you don't want the third one to exist.

No one is that stupid.

This is literally the reasoning that people used to use for slavery about slaves here vs living back in Africa.

"They're better off picking cotton in my fields rather than suffering in Africa."

Is that the Democrat motto for 2028?
Will it attract the votes of all the illegally residing, illegally working but magically not illegally voting population?
