Lex Luthor had some sort of moral code. He's trying to be Lex Luthor
Which group that is, is always, and has forever been due to who is in office ... But make no mistake, there IS ALWAYS a group of billionaires being enriched.Only a select group of billionaires is going to get their slice of US taxpayer money damnit!
Bend the knee or you get cut out of the profits!
I’d say this is one of the more egregiously “in your face” examples in modern history.Which group that is, is always, and has forever been due to who is in office ... But make no mistake, there IS ALWAYS a group of billionaires being enriched.
But we get threads like this acting surprised ...
This is rather comical.
We used to break up monopolies.Musk has billions of dollars in government contracts because there are no viable competitors for SpaceX or Starlink.
Which is only possible when competitors exist. There aren’t any for Starlink and Boeing proved it can’t be trusted with space travel. You don’t have to like Elon, but we’re stuck with him unless you can find some other eccentric billionaire willing to do science without regard for financial loss.We used to break up monopolies.
No. You break them into smaller entities that compete with each other.Which is only possible when competitors exist.
That’s just the government with extra steps, it already exists, it’s called NASA.Which is only possible when competitors exist. There aren’t any for Starlink and Boeing proved it can’t be trusted with space travel. You don’t have to like Elon, but we’re stuck with him unless you can find some other eccentric billionaire willing to do science without regard for financial loss.
Elon has accomplished more over the last year than NASA did in 30 years. NASA peaked a long time ago. That’s just the government with extra steps, it already exists, it’s called NASA.
Which would only count if he were on an actual government commission.No. You break them into smaller entities that compete with each other.
Historically, if Musk were on such a commission he would have to sell his shares or make other arrangements. He has literal direct conflicts of interest.
If NASA had the money Elon does they could do so much more.Elon has accomplished more over the last year than NASA did in 30 years. NASA peaked a long time ago.
Unlikely. NASA lacks vision and talent in ways money can’t solve. If NASA had the money Elon does they could do so much more.
The more people that expose Elon Musk, the better. He's been a fraud and conman from the get-go, hence his constant need to jimmy his way into Founder Status at companies he didn't build. He's a brand-artist who is good at playing the game of capitalism, but not actually at building anything. He gets fat on government handouts.
NASA is also under certain restrictions like not blowing stuff up and raining toxic debris down on an endangered turtle sanctuaryIf NASA had the money Elon does they could do so much more.
He is more of a Justin Hammer in my book.Per people who I hear have many degrees from prestigious universities, Elon Musk is our Tony Stark. Everyone remember that time Tony Stark worked with the U.S. president to review his competition's contracts?
It was issue 14 of the Avengers : Bureaucracy Wars series in 88. Tony Stark was part of a non-existent commission with no power to violate employment laws or government policy and contracts. He had 1,000,000s of adoring proud boy fans screaming he could.
Oh that Elon, he is just like Tony!

Like being bound by things like “laws” and not having a CEO more focused on running a social media platform?Unlikely. NASA lacks vision and talent in ways money can’t solve.
??? If there are competitors, then it's not a monopoly.Which is only possible when competitors exist.
Why would the government look for an eccentric billionaire? Billionaires aren't the only ones who can produce these goods. There aren’t any for Starlink and Boeing proved it can’t be trusted with space travel. You don’t have to like Elon, but we’re stuck with him unless you can find some other eccentric billionaire willing to do science without regard for financial loss.
Money is Musk's one and only "talent." You don't honestly believe Elon engineered his products?Unlikely. NASA lacks vision and talent in ways money can’t solve.
Elon has the money and the vision.Money is Musk's one and only "talent." You don't honestly believe Elon engineered his products?
You should tell the government that. Microsoft would be happy to hear it.??? If there are competitors, then it's not a monopoly.
Yet they didn’t. Elon did.Why would the government look for an eccentric billionaire? Billionaires aren't the only ones who can produce these goods.
