"Factually devastated"? Its an emotional state, there is nothing factual about it, its subjective. "Factually devastated", what a bunch of ****ery. lol
Ahhh, that's why people are confused. We are using different definitions.
Devastation also refers to the act of wreaking damage. This video, and this incident, has considerably damaged her reputation and credibility. She is also now deeply associated with the wealthy-white-washing of Bush's atrocities.
You dont have to explain that to me LOL seems others cant get it
How did this wreck Ellen's reputation? I guess I'm missing something.

Would you criticize Ellen if she befriended Trump? Just curious.
Cheney and Rumsfeld cooked the intelligence to get their support, lets not forget. But yes, many Dems did support the Iraq War. Thankfully, Dem is not synonymous with liberal or progressive.
Let's be honest about this. Trump is making the mess messier. Let Turkey kill the people guarding the ISIS prisoners? Then say it's all okay because the guards didn't help us in WWII and because the prisoners will go cause problems in a Europe which deserves problems?
That's just one example of Trump's relentless attack on national and global security. Taking the Pentagon by surprise, giving the green light to a dictator to kill our allies, sending ISIS members back into circulation with more material than ever to use for propaganda in recruiting people to fight against the heinous U.S., and we're without promises that we can make to build a coalition to fight them again, because our legacy under Trump is that we'll actively facilitate a brutal end for people stupid enough to risk their lives to try to help us.
I think you've nailed all of the let wing talking points. Congratulations.
Do you know anything about pending sanctions?
I'm glad to be on the side where the "talking points" match the facts. I'm embarrassed for people trying to spin Trump's love notes to dictators into some sort of policy achievement.
Will do. Also, here's the original video where Ellen is Factually Devastated™, which I just found.
So... this means you think trying to get us out of the middle east is a BAD idea?
Have you seen any objection at all to Bush hanging with Ellen?
It's hilarious how you guys think.....oh. Wait. You don't.
BTW, how does the right treat their own people who dare to be friends with a Democrat?
I dunno, how do you think.....opps, there I go again.
You say this as if there is some sort of universally agreed upon pathway for us to get out of this entanglement that Trump is blatantly ignoring.No.
I just want it to be done by someone who doesn't make things worse on the way out.
The GOP disowned Bush and tossed him aside when Trump said he was bad.
You say this as if there is some sort of universally agreed upon pathway for us to get out of this entanglement that Trump is blatantly ignoring.
Getting involved with this in the first place came with consequences. Getting out of it isn't any different. Turkey now has crippling sanctions they are facing should they continue to do what they've been doing. If they continue to indiscriminately bomb the Kurds without those sanctions being implemented, THEN you can call this a failure. If the sanctions are implemented and it doesn't stop them, THEN you can call this a failure. Right now, though, you're just regurgitating talking points.
Trump has already said he's fine with Turkey attacking the Kurds.
He's not going to sanction the dictator who has twice during phone calls induced him to spontaneously change U.S. policy in a way which favored the dictator and took the Pentagon by surprise.
Trump's red lines mean less than Obama's did.
I don't believe you. Not even a little bit. That's right I would. I'd pour a milkshake on his head too.
This thread shows the big difference between the libs and conservatives. The libs have all their panties in a wad because a supposed lib would associate with someone who has a different view that her. While no Conservative gives a rat's behind that Bush associates with a lesbian. One group has tolerance, the other has none.
Good...the real issues, finally
Except that the right does do the same thing. The right has shunned several politicians, made scathing comments about others for simply not being "with" their ideologies. Some refuse service to people for being who they are.
Neither side is right to do this, even if their methods aren't the same. And I'm willing to bet you are wrong about "no conservative gives a rat's behind that Bush associates with a lesbian". In fact, I'd say there are probably plenty of conservatives that do care not only that he is associating with a lesbian but also that he is associating with a lefty.
We are still waiting for you to prove this and post one fact that makes it true. Thanks!
