The pandemic is like a war. If a community is under attack it’s the responsibility of all people in that community to work together, towards a common defense. Because the virus spreads at an exponential rate from person to person, an individuals actions can have a profound negative effect on their community. The truth is this pandemic is everyone’s business. What your doctor should be doing is testing you for the anti bodies. Once he sees a drop you should take the vaccine. My ex-wife got Covid twice. My brother was told to get the vaccine 3 months after recovering from Covid as his antibodies had already dropped.

Neither cases takes into account a second strain as we have now.
