What CNN reported on that started this thread was disinformation that couched a portion of the Intel report as a primary conclusion.
There was a range of estimates along with their probability, and the "little impact" was a low probability, and was ruled out.
CNN, has now updated their story now that there was an official brief, that confirmed that the strikes took out Iran's centrifuges, and Israel as taken out Iran's Centrifuge manufacturing capabilities.
As I guessed in an earlier thread, the weak point in Fordow was the bore holes that were creased during construction and that Iran thought they had hidden. The US and Israel had long known the locations of these bore holes and targeted them. The GBU-57s targeted those ventilation shafts which allowed the blast to reach the facility.
Iran lost 20,000 centrifuges and the capability to manufacture any more centrifuges. They are left with ~400 kg of 60% enriched uranium.
