Drone strikes US outpost in Syria

Oh, I’m not “butthurt” at all.

It was a job, nothing more.

But I’m not longer excusing US war crimes, atrocities, or just flat out idiotic moves.

No matter how much that hurts your fragile ego ;)

Oh, and, once again, Reagan belonged in a cell.

Time to first lie....

First sentence.

He was as much a “terrorist” as the American soldiers who trained the Kurds, who, gee, are classified as a terrorist movement by NATO member Turkey, and who, gee, HAVE carried out attacks on Turkish soil in the past. It doesn’t MATTER why a country is fighting ISIS; if you think the US was fighting out of the goodness of its heart or for any other reason other than to prop up a government we poured vast amounts of resources into you are laughably naive. What matters is that they WERE fighting ISIS, and playing a vital role in that fight.

Literally hundreds of Iraqi members of parliament supported the call to kick America out on its ass. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis protested in the street calling for the same thing. They didn’t WANT us to go after Soleimani— the strike was nothing more than a petulant attempt by the United States to get “revenge”.

Handwaving away Americans getting traumatic brain injuries as a direct result of the moronic strike is pretty damn pathetic bud.

By that “logic” someone assassinating American military officers who played a role in training the many, many death squads we backed and bankrolled across Latin America for decades would also be “justice”. You crying because you don’t like having to face the glaring flaws in your revenge fantasies is not my problem.

Oh, I’ve got over it a while ago now. It’s YOU whose still fixated on what was nothing more than a job 😂

One word.

HEZBOLLAH.

So, Soleimani.... How did killing him in 2020 have an effect on events of 2014-2019?

Seeing you cry over the death of a terrorist simply because you are mad at the US because you failed basic training is so pathetic.

Iran was playing a role. Let’s not pretend they were anywhere near vital. And here is the thing. Iran will continue to fight isis because it’s in their best interest. They are not going to let isis take over their Allies because they are mad at the US.

Yes they passed a non binding measure. So impressed.

To pretend that had that POS that you are crying over would not have conducted any further attacks against civilians or the US and it’s allied countries that would have resulted in much more serious injuries then the result of Irans weak reaction is just you burying your head in the sand. And all because your butt hurt.

But what’s more pathetic is you don’t really care about them. You demonstrate that by only using them as a talking points in your silly little anti American rants you constantly spew on this site while being upset that the man who directly caused the death of hundreds of servicemen faced justice. You are not fooling anyone.

The only one dealing with fantasies here is you. And they started the moment your poor little self got dropped from basic training. Now it’s just you lashing out in impotent rage. Hilarious.

Yes your whole global out look changed and you do little more then attack America over everything because you are not butt hurt and it’s was just a job.
Do you think anyone believes that.

As previously stated, he was about as much a “terrorist” as any American soldier who trained the Kurds was. Watching you tearfully sob because you are obsessed with a job and you think everyone else is too is downright comical.

Gee, the Iraqis sure seem to think see given that they told the BBC his actions were crucial in preventing a wider collapse after they lost Mosul. And as previously stated, the US hindering the fight against ISIS for petty revenge is pathetic.

Gee bud they clearly impressed the President of the United States given how he raged about it.

To pretend that killing a foreign military leader based on complete hypotheticals is justified is laughable. But hey, way to admit you don’t really care about the servicemen you were whining about Soleimani fighting against, since you apparently think them getting their brains scrambled is “no big deal”.

As previously stated, if that’s “justice” then, say, a Cuban shooting military officers who participated in training the many American aligned death squads would also qualify 🙄 Trying to claim the hit had anything to do with “justice” rather than petty revenge is blinding oneself to the facts.

Nah, what’s REALLY hilarious is how a job is the center of your universe and you are utterly baffled that it isn’t everyone else’s as well.

Yes your whole global out look changed and you do little more then attack America over everything because you are not butt hurt and it’s was just a job.
Do you think anyone believes that.

Gee bud, then maybe America should stop committing atrocities, war crimes, and generally doing evil shit.

I no longer feel any need to cover for the US, and that triggers you. Too ****ing bad.

I don’t care what you believe bud, your “beliefs” can’t change the facts ;)

And likewise, engaging in whataboutism sobbing “but Hezbollah” is not an excuse for....anything.

And likewise, engaging in whataboutism sobbing “but Hezbollah” is not an excuse for....anything.

Hezbollah = Terrorists

That isn't "Whataboutism". That was part of his history. As was attacks on Americans.

So, as to ISIS.... How did killing him in 2020 have an effect on 2014-2019?

Molehills, meet mountains.

I have a suspicion that drone strikes against US military installations will become far more frequent in the coming years. We are spread all over the planet and make terrific targets for those who would do us harm. It would not surprise me if, in the near future, we're either forced to reduce our global presence, harden our bases against attack, or both.

Drones are extremely cheap and deadly weapons in even slightly skilled hands.
They'll become a problem for any forces stationed anywhere and it's a scary thought.

Gee bud, the PKK had carried out numerous attacks in Turkey proper yet we had no problem arming their affiliates.

And as far as terrorism goes, the US has armed so many groups that qualify— as Cuba, Nicaragua, and Colombia can all attest—that the sputtering is laughably hypocritical.

So what?

And as far as terrorism goes, the US has armed so many groups that qualify— as Cuba, Nicaragua, and Colombia can all attest—that the sputtering is laughably hypocritical.

Patented Tigerace117 Whataboutism.

So, as to ISIS and Soleimani.... How did killing him in 2020 have an effect on 2014-2019?

Its like arguing with a wall, except the wall spouts ad homs.

So, your entire argument is “he’s an terrorist because Hezbollah are terrorists and Iran arms Hezbollah”

By that logic, any American involved in arming the Kurds is a “terrorist”.

Coming from the guy who spent days sobbing “but North Korea” when I pointed out the brutality of South Korea’s dictators, you no longer have ANY room to talk about whataboutism.

So, your entire argument is.........

Like an SST....

Too high and to fast for you to comprehend.

Got Quds?

And, pulling "but North Korea" out in a thread that I have not once referred to North Korea seems both desperate and childish.

Yea, we know that you think “whataboutism” is a-okay when you do it….incessantly 😂 It’s not “childish” at all to point out the dozens of times you recently engaged in frantic whataboutism to show why your shrieks of it are completely meaningless.

Got the CIA running around Nicaragua carrying out terrorist attacks and mining their harbors? Got the US SOF training a group literally designated as terrorists by a NATO member? Gee bud, as previously stated the tearful sputtering about Quds is laughably hypocritical.

Gee bud, if ISIS is over and done with then why is America violating Iraq’s sovereignty by refusing to leave and conducting glorified terror attacks on their soil?

Yep. Keep up with that narrative. US Soldiers are no different then an Iranian Terrorist. And you think anyone is going to fall for your lie about not being all butt hurt. I doubt it

You again mean some Iraqis said something. That doesn’t make it a fact. But I love how you want to pretend that a small minority speak for all. Typical.

He wasn’t killed for any hypotheticals. He was killed because he was a terrorist piece of shit. Who you now cry over the loss of because of your hurt feelings.

And I never claimed that soldiers getting TBI was no big deal. Why are you lying. But it is true that soleimani caused hundreds of US Servicemen to die and hundreds more to be hurt a lot more seriously. And to just stick your head in the sand and pretend he would never have a role in that again is just pathetic.

Yes killing someone who killed and wounded hundreds of Americans is justice. And if you were not so butt hurt you would understand that.

It’s funny seeing you claim it was just a job but somehow the moment you got kicked out of that job it changed your entire beliefs. Hmmm doesn’t sound like it was just a job to you.

The fact that you think your butt hurt isn’t obvious to anyone who reads your posts is just silly.

All that mewling about Whataboutism while much of this post is Grade A Soviet style Whataboutism.

You stated "So, your entire argument is “he’s an terrorist because Hezbollah are terrorists and Iran arms Hezbollah”"

I responded with "Got Quds?".

Do you understand the context?

The Quds Force is a branch of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that has aided Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Yemeni Houthis, and Shia militias in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. He aided the Taliban against the NATO-backed Karzai administration. It aided in the formulation of Hezbollah. It aided the insurrection in Iraq thereby helping to extend the violace after the 2003 invasion. It has aided Al-Qaeda.

The list goes on but I suspect it will mean nothing to you because it is not America/West involved.

BTW _ The U.S. formally concluded its combat mission in Iraq on 9 December 2021, leaving the 2,500 troops remaining in the country to serve as trainers and advisors to the Iraqi security forces.

Hate to break it to you bud but it’s one’s actual actions— not the patch on the sleeve— which make them justified or otherwise. Crying because I pointed out the fact that under your own logic US forces would also qualify as “terrorists” is pretty damn lame bud. And unfortunately for you, no amount of weeping about me can change the cold hard facts.

I mean hundreds of Iraqi members of Parliament, backed by hundreds of THOUSANDS of ordinary Iraqis, said something. It was anything but a “small minority”. Funnily enough countries don’t like it when you violate their sovereignty for petty revenge.

As previously stated, that would make the US Army full of “terrorist pieces of shit”, by your own definition. Perhaps you should start living in the real world instead of throwing a tantrum because someone fought against us ;)

You literally described it as “weak”....and brain injuries are anything but, no matter how much you rant and rave.

Gee, the only way he’d have a “hand in it again” is if we stupidly engaged in another war of aggression.....like invading Iran, something we’ve been fantasizing about for decades.

You desperately trying to excuse petty and counterproductive revenge as “justice” is comical. If the US was interested in “justice” Reagan, amongst others, would have wound up in a cell.

It’s funny watching you cling so desperately to this delusion because you made a job your entire identity and can’t wrap your head around people simply....not doing that 😂

Hmm, sounds like you are, as usual, grasping at straws because you can’t muster an actual coherent argument.

A NON-BINDING RESOLUTION was presented.

Do you understand the term NON-BINDING?

It was SYMBOLIC.

The U.S. formally concluded its combat mission in Iraq on 9 December 2021, leaving the 2,500 troops remaining in the country to serve as trainers and advisors to the Iraqi security forces.
.

It was a “symbolic” response to what they saw as a violation of their sovereignty....telling us to get the **** out.

And “we’re done anyway, so we’re leaving, so there” is a pretty damn clear face saving measure.

Fact of the matter is that the strike was actively counterproductive and done solely for reasons of petty revenge.

Oh, and as previously stated, you no longer have room to cry about “whataboutism” given your constant use of it in attempts to defend South Korea’s brutal military dictators.

As for the Soviet Union, it’s funny you should mention them......because guess who the PKK’s biggest supporters during the Cold War were? 😂

Yes, and the US Army and CIA have aided numerous terrorist groups from the precursors to Colombia’s AUC, to several Cuban groups known for blowing up civilian airliners and murdering diplomats, to the Contras. Your point?

Btw, the “it’s justified when we do it but terrorism when they do it” argument should have died with the Cold War.

Yes keep to your claim that US servicemen are all a bunch of terrorists. Yes I am sure that will convince everyone that your rantings are not just the butthurt outbursts from a basic training failure.

Yeah the iraqs had such strong support to kick America out ofcountry that they passed a non binding resolution that was more then a symbolic gesture. How very convincing.

I said Irans response was weak. Which it was. That you have to lie and pretend I claimed that TBI is no big deal or weak just proves that you don’t mind lying as long as it helps sooth your pain from failure.

You pretend it was just a job to you yet your entire world out look changed the moment you got the boot. Yeah that sounds believable.

At some point in your life you are going to have to just let it go and move on. Keeping all this rage inside is just not healthy.

They would not be there without the approval of the Iraqi government.
