Dow tumbles nearly 3,000 points -- worst point drop in history

There is no way in hell that it doesn't get worse.

It's already "worse". We just have no evidence because the administration plowed the poodle on the testing.

A highly contagious virus with asymptomatic carriers has been circulating undetected for weeks at the very least.

You are going to be proven wrong about this.

The only thing remaining to determine is whether you'll be man enough to admit it when it does.
I have a prediction...

Here's an interesting correlation: Every time Trump conducts a press appearance, the Dow tumbles...

Nobody thinks God sent him. He sure as hell didn't cause the market to go to ****.

That’s not entirely true about the market. Where the anti-Trump crowd gets it wrong is that they believe the market dive is ABOUT Trump’s handling of the virus situation. That’d be wrong. The virus created a shock for sure, but a healthy and stable economy would be correcting by now.

Where Trump is responsible is in his commitment to accelerate government spending, a continued acceleration of easy money policies, and expecting/begging/forcing the Fed to inflate the hell out of the dollar. So, pretty much by being no different in policy than any other Republican or Democrat for the last century.

I took out half my money last summer so I didn't get hit too badly. I really don't want to log in to my investment site to see what's happened to the rest of my money.

We're basically at dec. 2018 levels so if you bought in before then, you'll be ok.

January 2017, actually. The crash has wiped out all the gains made under Trump.

Yeah, ok...lol

Depends on if you're counting first time it was this high, or last time it was this low, I suppose. Either way, sucks for anyone who bought at most points in the last 1-3 years. Anything before that is still in the money.

why aren't we seeing true capitalists screaming about the bumpers in the Stock Market?????

Aren’t we all true capitalists?

Is there something particular you think we should be discussing?

ahh yes...^perfect example of fear mongering right here. Of course its going to get worse before it gets better that doesn't mean we need to fill our basements with toilet paper or buy 25 roasted chickens. Calm down, no one said life was a safe space. Your chances of being killed by a panic stricken driver on their way to buy the latest stock of hand sanitizer is exponentially higher than being killed by CV.

ahh yes...millions dead.. What is the total so far?

By that standard, the bubonic plague was meaningless in 1348. Because only a few people had died by that point.

"LET'S COMPARE ANNUAL FLU NUMBERS AGAINST TWO WEEKS OF THIS VIRUS."

unnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng
