Dow Jones down 400 points on trade fears after Chinese tech exec's arrest

Or maybe they'll detain an American executive and say two can play this game.

Who said anything about signed documents?

In any case, the Chinese have said there is an agreement.

shrug...

Or maybe China will toss a nuke at Canada.

What deal would that be?
Trump claimed that China had agreed to reduce or eliminate its 40 percent tariffs on cars imported from the US His top economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, acknowledged no deal had been “signed and sealed and delivered yet”.

Not even Trump’s administration seems to know what the U.S. and China agreed to

It's amateur hour in the Oval Office, folks.

Signed documents is what defines an "agreement". Whatever anyone says, especially Trump, is simply little more than hearsay.

Perhaps you should go by what the Chinese say...instead of the spinning nonsense from the Trump-hating media.

Note the difference? Trump said there WAS a deal. China said they were confident that a deal WOULD be reached within 90-days. In other words, there currently is NO DEAL.

And, it seems you decided to pick and choose from the second link. This is what you deliberately ignored:

So...everything Trump said about his agreement with Xi is confirmed by the Chinese, themselves.

And just why should we trust what the Chinese say? I find it rather very sad and unfortunate that we can't even depend on what our own President says anymore than what China, North Korea, Russia or Saudi Arabia says.

Oh. Sure. Trump and Xi are running a game on you.

Okay.
