Doom and gloom versus a more perfect union. Which are you for?

You remain unresponsive.
You should be concerned with our infrastructure. Are you?
You should be concerned with our children's education. Are you?
You should be concerned with the ability of the US to compete in world markets. Are you?
You should be concerned with the future of our country? Are you?
It would seem not. Not even a little.

Off hand, it seems that the only thing that you are concerned with is where your tax dollars go. Welcome to the America. Over the course of my life I can easily list a thousand things my tax dollar$ have gone to that I don't like. Flying Air Force One to Mar-A-Lago to play golf leaps to mind.

I'd suggest you grow up.

You are blinded by the propaganda from the lying thieves and their partners in the media.

Money spent does NOT equate to problems solved. In the cases of the monies appropriated by the lying thieves we elect, it usually does not even equate to problems addressed.

A good case study of a an elected leader thinking out side the box is this one:

This details the solution to a problem that not only did not cost at the levels of the lying thieves, the solution actually delivered, and delivers, an ongoing income stream.

Solutions are often those that are cost free. The lying thieves can only steal when the money is there to steal. The money is only there to steal after they lie it into availability.

I'd suggest you stop be the willing dupe of the lying thieves and demand more of them.

How can we ever achieve a perfect union if both sides point fingers, feeding the doom and gloom. Utter hypocrisy.
Well, one side in particular (the radical right) can't even agree on reality. JFK Jr. coming back from the dead in Dealey Plaza!? That deserves a pointing finger.

Take the recent infrastructure bill that just passed, out of 214 republicans in the house, only thirteen voted for the bill and they are now being punished for 'helping the dems'. I thought the infrastructure bill was to help the country not the dems exclusively? Almost every post by the right on here is filled with doom and gloom, a complaint about something and mostly don't believe anything that doesn't come from trump, fox, newsmax or oann. Everything else is left wing propaganda. Elections are rigged, the fbi, doj and any congressional organization is not to be trusted and every democratic mail in ballot is not valid.

Then we have the party who finally managed to get an infrastructure bill passed for the benefit of the country. Next on the agenda is the build back better bill. Another something to help many, many americans and of course the R's are against it. While the R's poo poo everything and say no, we dems will continue to try to keep building that more perfect union we speak about.

One last thought. This fight is over spending a few trillion over ten years on we the people. Some say we just can't afford it. In that light the military gets about a trillion a year each and every year. So in ten years the military will get over ten trillion, do you hear the fiscal republicans bitching about those numbers? I don't.
Democrats infrastructure bills have a history of being nothing but payola to unions and government employees. Little if any actually builds anything.

Of course it's all rigged and a giant waste of money, now if only trump had thought about an infrastructure bill.

Your post is idiotic.

In what way does your question connect to anything that is being discussed?
?? HUH ?? It's a DIRECT REFERENCE TO YOUR POST! If it isn't connected to anything being discussed, then your post isn't connected to anything being discussed. The point in asking - and I can see I'll have to hold your hand through this too - is that those numbers are meaningless. If they had any meaning, you'd remember the answer without looking - but you don't. And neither will anyone else. Ergo, meaningless!

As expected. Unresponsive.

My hand is held out for you walk me through your thought process.

Please proceed.

Did you edit away the parts of the post that you failed to read?

As I said, you are blinded by the propaganda from the lying thieves.

Spending more in no way implies that greater accomplishment is produced.

Do you seriously not know this?

In passing, what are you defending theft and waste?

Continued unresponsiveness. No response to the need for infrastructure, no response to the need to be competitive in the world, no response to the need for education, no response paying down the debt through growth (I guess you just think that little elves will make it disappear - is that it?). Our country has no future in your eyes, because you're so myopic, you can't see past the rim of your glasses.

You have no solutions. None whatsoever. You're a one-trick pony who hates to pay taxes, and your excuse is that all the money goes to "the lying thieves". Sorry, but that just won't cut it. I'm done with you. Good-bye.

Thirteen too many, but you live with the bad as well as the good. Things should improve by this time next year.

And this time next year we'll be seeing hundreds of Republican lawmakers TAKING CREDIT for the infrastructure bill and the Build Back Better bill, that they OPPOSED.
They voted AGAINST them, but come this time next year they will ALL be doing junkets all around their voting districts telling their constituents that THEY are the reason
infrastructure is being improved and that THEY are the reason the Build Back Better bill is succeeding, just as they take credit for everything they've voted against in the past.

Cut it in half for ten years, it's so over bloated nobody will notice. We don't need bases all over the world. My plan, protect america from invasion, not run all over the world rescuing everyone. We are not the world's police. As a military person you should know we spend more each year than the other top however many countries combined. We can stand a cut.
Yabbut when election season comes around the Rethuglicans will use that to accuse Dems of being "soft on defense".

OP has a history of making false claims, exaggerating, gaslighting, team hero exalting, dishonest misrepresentation, and flat out lying.

The above post contains elements of all of the tactics I just described.

That would be something because it's so much against the norm.

Take your pick.

Take my pick of WHAT, two members of ALEC?

ROFL.gif

Trey Kovacs - American Legislative Exchange Council

Vincent Vernuccio - American Legislative Exchange Council

ALEC is the REASON WHY unions are in such a weakened condition.
That's a far contrast from what American labor was all about when I was a wee tot growing up.
I have absolutely ZERO respect for people who carry anti-union views, and you're the model of such a person.
So if you have a beef about how awful it is that unions are getting a seat at the table for the first time in a generation, don't expect any sympathy from me.
Anybody can join those labor unions.
In fact, one of the differences between THOSE unions and mine is that THOSE unions NEED more workers, so it's not uncommon for them
to have labor halls where union members can actively seek AND GET jobs any day of the week.
MY union was more difficult to get into (for very good reasons) and we had to seek our own assignments.
And it has always been worth it, too.
In 1984 when I joined, pay for a Z-1 On-Call Picture Editor was $1600 bucks a week and by the time I left, it was $2495 a week.
And that was the BASE pay.
I made more money than GOD back then.

Take your pick.

So, adding to my previous reply about ALEC, the only reason you would want to be on their side of the issue is if you're the CEO of some large corporation that wants more for their stockholders and less for labor, or if you own so goddamn much stock in some outfit that union contracts might cost YOU a few million.
Congratulations on your good fortune but you're still not getting any sympathy from me as you have a few million less to fill up your yacht.

Otherwise, you're just voting against your own self interests, which is typical of today's Republicans and libertarians.

Giving unions preference in distribution of infrastructure spending was not only reducing bang for the buck it was a money laundering operation. Give unions much sought after extremely profitable contracts and they kick back some of it in donations to the DNC

That's flat out hucking filarious watching you slurp and suck that moldy old baloney.
You don't seem to be laughing. Upset is more like it.

Politicians don't usually try to take credit for things outside their district or state, particularly things as conspicuously pushed by the other party. If facts bore you, just think of it as out of the ordinary.

It's a good thing this bill was passed. The US has not spent one dime on roads and bridges in the past 10 years or so( You would think that if you listen to Democrats)

You are failing to understand what I post and yet you seem to be passionately opposed to this thing that you cannot grasp.

Regarding education, the US consistently SPENDS at the top of the heap and consistently delivers outcomes in the middle of the pack. What's wrong with this picture?

Regarding overall spending by the Feds, they were about a half Trillion Dollars over the rate of inflation measuring 2019 outlays against 2000 outlays. That's about A Half Trillion stolen with nothing to show for it.

Here in Indiana, there was a highway that was essentially replaced running from Michigan to Illinois and the cost was not only zero in tax revenue from any government entity, it actually produces a revenue stream for Indiana.

Simply spending more in no way indicates that anything beyond simply spending more is being done.

Why are you incapable of understanding this?
