Because they are scared. They are scared of immigrants. They are scared of trans people. I talked with my friend that voted for Trump twice about abortion and during our discussion he said something along the lines of, “well, I think that any society that doesn’t value life enough to eliminate abortion will collapse”. Like he literally believed that legalizing abortion was a sign of some kind of societal decay and that criminalizing it was the only way to save our country from ruin.

Everything they do will always be framed as self defense. We are protecting our country from immigrants. We are protecting the children from gender ideology. We are protecting our culture from degeneracy. We are protecting our country from the Jews.

It’s always fear and “self defense”

Yeah, you can see that, too, in their complaints about everyone picking on them.

The system is rigged against them. It's why the Big Lie was so appealing to them.

Remember you can always fall back on “I hope they get exactly what they deserve!”

When challenged say “What if they deserve good things? I’m not making that call. I’ll let karma handle that.”

Then you can ask if it’s their guilty conscience that makes them assume you mean they deserve bad things.

These "rallies" are nothing more than cult gatherings, and they're getting worse. The crowd started singing the Star Spangled Banner while Trump was speaking. And there was the actual cult gathering last week, QAnon. Trump's progeny, Stone, Pillow, and Flynn spoke at that one.

When developing the science of propaganda, they studied lots of phenomena. They learned how to control attention from stage magicians, for instance.

They learned from con men, who often hit the same mark more than once, that human beings are extremely reluctant to admit to themselves they have been fooled. It causes an existential crisis if they do. Why did they fall for it? Will they fall for it again? Who else is fooling them? And so on.

That is why they simply cannot see how much they’ve been played.

This is a perfect example of someone twisting Trumps words.
He is speaking of reporters who leak that won't give up their source. If they commited a crime and get thrown in jail and realize they are about to be "someone's bride" they will sing!
