Russia has had years in the war slowly taking more and more WITH crazy tipping the scales from the US all along. It did not stop them. This is a fallacy to think that Ukraine will be in a better bargaining position in 6 month than they are now.

Why would putin agree to a ceasefire NOW?

Trump is helping putin. There is no way around this. Anyone who wants a ceasefire knows that aiding one side by crippling the other's ability to defend itself isn't going to result in a ceasefire.

Denying that trump is aiding putin the aggressor won't make him stop doing this. Pretending that trump is NOT helping putin prevail won't change the fact we all now know you agree with trump's helping putin to kill and maim Urainians.
