Donald Trump has promised a 'mass deportation.' It would cost billions.

Donald Trump has promised a 'mass deportation.' It would cost billions.

A projected $88 billion a year to deport 1 million people. Trump wants to deport 11 million and probably more. Do the napkin math people.

Trump would use the US military within the US borders, trample on Constitutional rights, and once again separate families.

Who exactly is going to replace 11 million workers in the US? Our farming and agriculture sectors would be decimated. And all this in addition to the disasterous promised Trump tariffs.
Where does he figure he'll deport them to?

An eVerify mandate, coupled with changes to the federal income tax code, allowing the IRS to act as the primary enforcement mechanism for W-2 and 1099 employees. Once W-2 and/or 1099 employment opportunities are removed then many (if not most) ‘undocumented’ immigrants would self-deport.

Add to that better enforcement for both W-2/1099 businesses, but enforcement in the under the table employers.

Serious fines equal to the market rate of wages paid to the illegals, in addition to fines, so the cost of hiring illegals is more than the money saved.

Repeat offenders then face jail time.

(But of course the businesses need to tools to verify employment eligibility.)

Thats the idea. Libs ushered 11 million people into the country and spread them throughout the interior knowing it would be near impossible to get them out.
Wasn't it Texas and Florida who spread them through the interior of the country?

And the cost to allow illegals to remain and tax our health, education and legal systems?

That assumes the people coming to the US don't want to work and are ok with being homeless.
I assume the whole point of going to a new country is to have a better life, not just a new type of bridge they can live in a tent underneath.

So the idea here is to take 12-15 million people (depending on whether or not European illegals count), pick them all up and move them to where they belong.

I can totally see this going completely smoothly, without pissing off just about every nation in the world.

I heard it was 22 million.

Is it a crime to unlawfully traffick humans across state lines?

Given that states don't have any legal authority to do anything of the kind?

Why didn’t Biden’s DOJ prosecute them?

They will when he threatens their seats. We've already been through this. Anyone thinking things will be different this time is kidding themself.

It'll never get 60 votes and as the economy continues to hum along, he'll be running on it in 2028.

Maybe they'll do a raid or two to please people and then back off because it will turn out to be very unpopular..

Basically tank the economy.

Because Biden has lost his bloodlust.

Be interesting to see what Harris might do with it. There's a 10 year statute of limitations on human trafficking, so she can certainly have them charged.

But hey MAGA loves his "policies"

So what's the solution? Not do anything? Just give everyone who has entered into the country amnesty?
What's the problem you're trying to solve exactly? They help our economy overall, low crime, nearly all work, most pay taxes, their kids get educated then it's no longer an uneducated question.
Isn't our population decline a big issue? And the way they are treated being in the shadows? Are these part of the problems you want to solve?
They contribute to medicare/SS through payroll in some cases, provide us with less expensive labor (although greedflation has eroded that in wealthy suburbs), and they boost our "population" growth.

Nope.

Far from the "whole point". Eking out a living in some hell-hole country or living off welfare in one of the richest in the world is an easy choice;

Some I'm sure, but nothing like the numbers seen under Biden/Harris. Also, keep in mind that during the past 16 years 12 of those were Democrat Presidents. Under Trump illegal immigration numbers were at record lows. No they were not non-existant, but in much fewer numbers than previously seen and even lower than compared to Biden/Harris.
These guys said it best! Ronny gave amnesty to illegals if I remember correctly.

The problem to be solved is not to let or encourage people to break the law. As a citizen that is the expectation that is placed upon me. I have no issue with legal migrant workers. Our history has always seen people come in and work the seasons agriculturally and then go home. These are not migrant workers, these are people looking to start a new life in a different country. Many come here with nothing essentially and are dependent upon our resources from the get go. Every penny going to someone who is not even supposed to be here is a penny taking away from a citizen.

We have a legal process for immigration to occur which seems to have been cast aside. Is there a number of people entering illegally that you think is too great?
