I never saw a black man on television who was not being arrested until the 1980's.

..and people wonder why some whites automatically fear blacks.

I was a teen in High School when the show "I Spy" came on....and a black man played one half of the spy duo....

Star Trek had a black person
There were LOTS of TV shows with black people before 1980 and I don't recall any of then there just to be arrested.

I disagree with Lemon because it's 'men' in general causing the mass violence and the statistics don't lie. White men might have their hand on so called 'lone wolf mass shootings' but he needs to recognize it's coming from others as well.

All I know, is every night when I turn on my 6:00 o'clock news, in my city, another African American victim is taken at the hands of another African American killer. Be it drive-by's, robberies, domestic violence, gang retributions, or whatever, our African American brothers and sisters are being killed at an alarming rate and it's usually not the white guy doing the killing. Our African American communities need help and we should do all we can do to help them. No one should have to live like that in America. But blaming all their woes on whitey ain't gonna help them none. Just saying.......
