Don Jr Tries to Discredit Kids

Don Jr. has liked at least two tweets pushing content that attempts to discredit one of the most vocal student survivors of the Parkland school shooting.

This disinfo campaign is just getting started:

Donald Trump Jr. Spreads Parkland Conspiracies on Twitter | Miami New Times
So sad, too bad, but once you step into the public eye with your political opinions, you open up yourself to being criticized. If he is adult to think his opinions are worthy of consideration than he is also adult enough to handle the push back it receives. No sympathy here.

Right. How dare he have a political opinion about guns when 17 people he knew just got blown away.

Jr. once again proves that money does not equate to class. Just shut the **** up and let these kids grieve in the best way they know how. This is working for them. Let them have it while they can. It doesn't cost a dime to be a decent human being.

So what? you think these kids should be allowed to set national gun policy because they are greiving. Once they choose to step into the national spotlight they accept all that comes with it. If they want to be treated like fragile little snowflakes they should stay in their safe zones.

Snowflakes? Dude, these kids just survived the biggest school shooting since Sandy Hook. WTF, man?

Of course you don't have sympathy for a kid who just lost his friends due to a mass murderer.

DT Jr will be our POTUS in the next 30 years so dont make fun of him. :2razz:

The inevitable spinoff to Our Cartoon President will come out then? I can't wait!

“Waah! Somebody who survived a school shooting is stating an opinion! Let’s make up lies about them! Waah!”

It’s truly sad how you Trump cultists are downright eager to fantasize about anyone who states information you don’t like.

And I am empathetic to their trauma but I am not going to let it be used to emotionally blackmail people so the antigun crowd can get a political victory. While we are the subject of empathy and of thinking about these kids feelings, how long did it take for the antigunners to tell everyone to stick their thoughts and prayers up their asses? Please feel free to link to your posts of condemnation of that.

Oh, worry not. The gun lobby will never get this anywhere, anyway. When 20 kindergartners got mowed down in cold blood, and it was excused, and when nothing happened, I knew then that there would never be any common sense gun legislation. When you can look past 20 kindergartners getting killed 10 days before Christmas, and still refuse to do anything about it, that's it. We are done as a country. We are spiraling down the drain.

You ****ing people can't even let victims of a mass shooting get upset anymore, without telling them they deserve the ire we heap upon them.

Absolutely disgusting. I hate where we are as a country right now. I do. I hate it. I never thought I'd say that, but I hate what we have devolved to.

We have literally turned into a ****hole country.

Your conflating two different issues. If you think I'm dumb enough to get suckered into your bait and switch tactic, your underestimating me.

So you are cool with the presidents son making up conspiracy theory's about a random teenager that has just been through a school shooting? I understand your love for all liars and things untrue, that's how we got Trump, but seriously?

Is that election won just after the nuke attacks by North Korea - which happened after the Russians hacked US Missile defense systems that prevented the detection of the nuke missile launches?

"Thoughts and Prayers" is simply the NRA/gun nuts talking point to avoid dealing with the issue. We are done. The NRA and gun nuts CAN take their thoughts and prayers and shove them up their ass....because their "thoughts and prayers" are empty. They don't give a damn about these kids. They are collateral damage to their biggest cause.

Did you see Vox's thread the other day? Literally berating scared teens for trying to contact their parents and friend during the event. Disgusting people out there.

Why are you deflecting from my post. Nothing in your reply addresses anything I said. Frankly it's disgusting how you are trying to avoid a rational conversation by using a tragedy to shield your position from criticism.

Calling someone a "snowflake" isn't being empathetic to that person. Own your words, shameful as they were.

Don Jr didn't make up anything. He liked what someone said. Antigunners are not the only people entitled to their opinions on this issue.

So please tell us what you would do that would not infringe on the rights of legal gun owners?
i can't wait to hear the silence.

See that's the difference here between myself and the people im arguing with. I don't begrudge you your right to express that opinion. I don't have to agree with you to respect your right to express yourself. I am not running around telling people who think more gun control will lead to less massacres to sit down and shut up. That message is coming from the other side.

Let the kids ramble. It's a way of handling a travesty and venting frustration.

But be very wary of making laws based on emotional teens ramblings and frustrations.

NRA had nothing to do with this.

Trump had nothing to do with this.
