If it's as likely to succeed as the Durham investigation, maybe it's more laugh now, laugh harder later. I do hope at some point Comer and Jordan are involved, because that's the cherry on top of failure.

Of course then Bondi and Patel will have all of the jury members arrested.

Tulsi is claiming that they concocted a false narrative - that Russia tried to interfere with the election to help Trump.

A bi-partisan Senate Intelligence Committee confirmed in 2020 that Russia tried to interfere with the election.

So I guess "to help Trump" is the problematic part then?

No, they are not, and here's why: This was an announcement in advance of an upcoming 'investigation.' The announcement is the important part. Now Trump can run around telling everyone the DOJ is 'investigating' these folks.

That is not how real DOJ investigations are conducted. Announcements are made as indictments are about to be unveiled, not before. The reason is simple: The DOJ wants to stand in front of the mics with more than their dicks in their hands at the conclusion of the investigation.

Trump doesn't give a shit about that. All he wants is to tell the world that these 'very bad people' are being investigated.

No. The false narrative is that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia in interfering in the 2016 election.
