I know some pretty fancy and beautiful trailers and trailer parks.

What constitutes trailer trash to you?

A below average number of teeth.

State of mind...or lack thereof.

Milk cartons, pizza boxes, beer cans, etc.

While all trailer trash have trailers, not all people that own trailers are trailer trash.

I, Totally Texas White Trailer Trash & zip code, am trailer trash. I define this elite group of citizens (well, mostly citizens) as those that chose to live in rented mobile homes to save on housing costs. My rent is $300/month, my location is rural and quiet, between two pastures on a non-busy street. Some may include those that own their homes, but that usually involves higher costs and the upgrade to claiming to be a living in a "manufactured" home. ;)

Ownership pretty much disqualifies you, IMHO. ;)

Nah, there are plenty of people that have had trailers "passed" down to them and are the definition of "trailer trash".

Trailer trash genuinely remind me of ghetto garbage, there is no difference.

outside of skin color there is no differnce.

Exception above noted, edited for clarity and approved. ;)

I have seen some beautiful "trailers" but around these parts, they are called "Manufactured homes". They cost anywhere from 125,000.00 to 200,000.00 and space "rent" is 600 to 800 per month. Unless you buy the "space" with the "trailer".

This is an Americanism. So far as I'm familiar with the term, it refers pejoratively to the economically disadvantaged, amirite?

I never took to trailers, personally. Even the larger, more expensive ones. They look like ****.

so what if someone lives in a trailer or in the inner city? socioeconomic status is not an indicator of worth one way or the other.

No roof? Trailer looks mighty fine to me.

Gives a new meaning to the term "high rise," doesn't it? You can have seven families living in seven different homes on less than a half acre of land! You just have to think outside of the box! :lamo:

Greetings, MMC. :2wave:
