autocracy

[ aw-tok-ruh-see ]

noun

plural autocracies.
  1. government in which one person has uncontrolled or unlimited authority over others; the government or power of an absolute monarch.
  2. a nation, state, or community ruled by an autocrat.
  3. unlimited authority, power, or influence of one person in any group.

No, we're not even close to being an autocracy.
By your definition we are VERY close to being an autocracy:

  • government in which one person has uncontrolled or unlimited authority over others; the government or power of an absolute monarch.
Trump now has complete control of the executive branch as he has fired the people who ensure that the government operates as it is intended to and replaced them with people who will follow his orders without question.

Trump has complete control over the legislative branch because he has along with Musk’s financial support terrorized Republican politicians into complete submission by threatening them with the loss of their jobs.

Trump has de facto complete control over the Judicial branch because he is able to ignore judicial rulings in a myriad of cases with the judicial branch having no recourse.

That does it. That is very, very close to being an autocracy.

Truth be told, we just voted one out.
That’s ridiculous! There is no comparison between the two situations. The situation under Biden was nowhere near as close to autocracy as what we have now.

Except none of the above is remotely true, or grossly exaggerated at best.

Is it? You don't even know WHO was running Biden's administration - cuz it certainly wasn't him.

Well it looks like you are ignoring reality. If not, how about some actual rebuttal? Where am I wrong?

Sorry, but that’s just ridiculous. Biden discussed his plans, we saw them carried out and he discussed the results. They were also consistent with what you would expect from him. Regardless, the difference relative to autocracy between Biden and Trump is like night and day.
