Or look at the November of 5 years ago? What a dumb example. Furthermore, presidents are not elected by popular vote anyhow.
Yeah, the people voting because of universal suffrage almost put a purple heart pansy in the White House. Thankfully the Americans prevented that.

And the reason why it cannot be translated by the person, or for the person, in question?
And the reason someone too lazy or too unconcerned to learn the language of the nation they've chosen to live in should be allowed to vote is?

None. If they're too lazy or feel they're too good to learn English, screw 'em.

Oh, okay. So being an immigrant means they don't pay taxes. Gotcha.
No. Real immigrants pay taxes, and once they/re naturalized and demonstrated english proficiency and have a taxpaying job, there shouldn't be any problem with them voting.

The illegal invaders, who aren't "immigrants", should be stripped of 100% of all property they hold in the US and tossed back over the boarder naked.

You're not even making any sense. Did Americans put him in office or didn't they? You don't have to actually answer that, I just wanted to show how ridiculous you sound. What you need to do is understand the difference between Universal Suffrage and the Electoral College.

And the reason someone too lazy or too unconcerned to learn the language of the nation they've chosen to live in should be allowed to vote is?

None. If they're too lazy or feel they're too good to learn English, screw 'em.
Assuming that being lazy is the ONLY reason that they aren't able to learn English.

Also assuming that learning English is absolutely necessary, which I have already show that it is not via Cultural Enclaves (something you conveniently forgotten since you didn't address it).

There are plenty of people in the US that do not speak English, and they live well adjusted lives in their communities. Why do you ignore this?

One then wonders why did you bring up paying taxes in a conversation about immigrants, unless of course you're talking about illegal immigrants. But then no one has alluded to the notion that the people we are discussing were illegal immigrants. You assumed they were.

You're malcontent with immigrants in general has already been exposed (by your own commentary).

I have some neighbors that I'm assuming are from India and they are willing to live in tighter conditions with more family inside a small space to save money.
On top of all that they keep their place very clean.
that has nothing to do with saving money or 'sacrificing', it has entirely to do with their culture.

You mean its killing you.
And I can live with that.
OK, that was actually a good one.

So, are you going to tell us what you are trying to communicate, or shall we guess?

No.

Americans stopped the Purple Heart Pansy from taking the White House, that they had to protect the nation by electing Bush instead is merely an indication to the low standards this nation has sunk to.

But it would have been lower if Kerry had managed to slip in.

Assuming that being lazy is the ONLY reason that they aren't able to learn English.
Being stupid is another reason to deny them the vote.

I'm fair.

Also assuming that learning English is absolutely necessary,
It is.

If you want to be an American.

which I have already show that it is not via Cultural Enclaves (something you conveniently forgotten since you didn't address it).
No, I pointed out that living in a ghetto isn't an American ideal.

There are plenty of people in the US that do not speak English, and they live well adjusted lives in their communities. Why do you ignore this?
Beacuse you're not paying attention.

If they don't want to learn english, it's their choice and that's fine.

if they want to be Americans and vote, they need to learn the damn language.

That's fair.

If they don't want to learn english, it would really be better if they went back home, though, where they'd be happier, right?

One then wonders why did you bring up paying taxes in a conversation about immigrants, unless of course you're talking about illegal immigrants. But then no one has alluded to the notion that the people we are discussing were illegal immigrants. You assumed they were.
No, I never discuss illegal immigrants. They're illegal invaders, or illegal aliens. Immigrants are present in accordance with existing law, not in spite of it.

You're malcontent with immigrants in general has already been exposed (by your own commentary).
No. Your refusal to recognize the meaning of the word "illegal" has been highlighted by your posts.

Thank you for admitting that you have no idea what the Electoral College is.

Being stupid is another reason to deny them the vote.

I'm fair.

Resorting to trolling now?

No, I pointed out that living in a ghetto isn't an American ideal.
And I suppose your American Ideal is the same for everyone? Such modesty.

if they want to be Americans and vote, they need to learn the damn language.
Why? You have yet to show any reason why they must learn English. Unless you're reason is that you'll be really really really mad.

And the last time I checked, as long as you are an US citizen, you are able to vote regardless of what language you speak or not speak.

No. Your refusal to recognize the meaning of the word "illegal" has been highlighted by your posts.
:rofl Translation: I know you are but what am I?

No originality.

Does having the right to (x) mean that you have the right to have others provide you the means to exercise your right to (x)?

Please be sure to explain your answer.
By that reasoning, we should force drug dealers to give us drugs cheaply. We should force China to give us our jobs back on threat of retaliation. No is simple enough, I think.

Thank you for admitting that you have no idea what the Electoral College is.
I don't recall saying that.

How's about if you post a quote from me saying so.

Just because I don't follow your pushes doesn't mean I"m an ignorant Democrat.

Why? You have yet to show any reason why they must learn English.
Oh, I forgot. That's right. They wrote the Constitution in First Kingdom Hieroglyphics.

And the last time I checked, as long as you are an US citizen, you are able to vote regardless of what language you speak or not speak.
As I recall, the discussion wasn't about what is, but what should be.

You didn't have say it, your ignorance did. The notion that you even think that universal suffrage is how our presidents get elected, says it all.

Oh, I forgot. That's right. They wrote the Constitution in First Kingdom Hieroglyphics.
So since our laws are written in English, that means everyone must speak English in order to vote? What does this even accomplish? Why is this even considered a requirement?

Does it somehow root out the "bad" voters? Does it somehow improve the quality of the voting process? Stop with this juvenile babble already. You've got no justification for your idiotic reason.

Your willingness to read into things that which have not been said is not a measure of the depth of my knowledge.

So since our laws are written in English, that means everyone must speak English in order to vote?
Wow, it's amazing how things work by osmosis, isn't it?

What does this even accomplish?
You mean outside of establishing the unity of culture that all nations must have to survive in the long term?

How happy is Canada with it's pathetic french speaking minority who pretend that French is the language of the first people to settle the area? How stable is that, how well have the bogus compromises worked to keep the loons at bay?

Since it's my country, the United States, it's perfectly reasonable to demand that people wishing to participate in elections speak my language. They moved into my home, not I, theirs.

Why is this even considered a requirement?
Because it keeps the illegal aliens from the south from taking over as easily.

Does it somehow root out the "bad" voters?
No, just the naughty ones.

Does it somehow improve the quality of the voting process?
Yes. It keeps the discussion in english, prevents the formation of special interest group enclaves manipulated by unscrupulous community organizers.

You could try paying attention to how politics works in a free republic sometime, and how those free republics are turned into workers paradises.

Stop with this juvenile babble already. You've got no justification for your idiotic reason.
No, your refusal to see reason does not mean reason does not exist. It's been explained to you in greater detail than required to teach emus the concept.

But I'm used to teaching Democrats and socialists and other little children about the real world.

No explanation, nor substantiation. Just more trolling.

You mean outside of establishing the unity of culture that all nations must have to survive in the long term?
Can you tell me what language the North and the South spoke during the Civil War? So much for unity of culture.

Speaking the language has nothing to do with accepting the culture. There are many people around the world that admire the US's system of gov't. They do NOT need to speak English in order to enjoy it, admire it, nor practice it.

It is about the idea of voting. Not what language you speak.

How happy is Canada with it's pathetic french speaking minority who pretend that French is the language of the first people to settle the area? How stable is that, how well have the bogus compromises worked to keep the loons at bay?
I guess Canada is going to go into civil war mode, eh?

Since it's my country, the United States, it's perfectly reasonable to demand that people wishing to participate in elections speak my language. They moved into my home, not I, theirs.
Since immigrants can be naturalized and hold US citizenship, it is as much your country as theirs. Again, your malcontent towards immigrants have been exposed (by your own commentary).

Because it keeps the illegal aliens from the south from taking over as easily.
Uh, no. Immigrants, legal ones, can come into the US without having to speak the language. What makes you think it's going to stop illegal ones?

Yes. It keeps the discussion in english, prevents the formation of special interest group enclaves manipulated by unscrupulous community organizers.
And what special interest group enclaves are you speaking about, or are we just going to make **** up as we go along?

You could try paying attention to how politics works in a free republic sometime, and how those free republics are turned into workers paradises.
Forgive me if I don't take your advice seriously, but you don't know the difference between Universal Suffrage and the Electoral College, let alone politics.

But I'm used to teaching Democrats and socialists and other little children about the real world.
The only thing I learned from you is your distaste for immigrants.

Unless of course, you're an immigrant who can speak 8 different languages but does not speak English, of which the literacy test is based on...

Illiteracy in English =/= Stupid
If that person was such a ****ing genius then why didn't they have the foresight to make English one of their languages?

/fail

This is the second time I have to remind you that we are not talking about illegal immigrants. We are talking about people who do not speak English.

Do try to keep up.

...Unless of course you think that since they don't speak English they must be illegals. Knowing your attitude towards immigrants, this is probably the case.

I would expect that only from people of similar political and social group as me.

We don't expect Conservatives to like American People. Their goal is power and exploitation. Poor people wanting the American dream are a total mystery to conservatives.

If t hey can't speak english, they shouldn't vote.

Your failure to keep track of the discussion is probably indicative of some organic failure of your central nervous system.

Do not seek help.

And yet you keep bringing up illegal aliens. You should be the last one to talk about keeping track with the discussion.

Furthermore, you have yet to substantiate your argument, which makes it worthless and pathetic.
