Let me ask you something — of all the Democratic presidents, from Theodore Roosevelt (granted, he was a Republican who later switched to the Progressive Party) to Obama, which one do you think Maga/Republican today would have voted for instead of Trump?

I agree that Trumplicans would not have ever voted for anyone but Trump. That was not the group I was referring to in my post.

The trouble is, there's been little in terms of a unified, focused effort on the part of the Democratic Party to offer a viable, appealing alternative to apathetic voters who avoided the polls in 2024 to the tune of 89M, or 36% of the eligible voting population. Given the stakes involved that is staggering.

I often wonder how many on the left have some level of understanding that Trump would have never been president, ever, if it hadn't been for all they and their bought and paid for media did against Trump.
