Can't say that I do. Not my place to tell you how to live your life.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm sick and tired of hearing about everyone's sexual preference. This includes celebrities, athletes, politicians, and even Joe Schmo the regular guy. I dont care and never did. Just live your life and be with who you want to be with. The rest of us dont need to know what is going on in your bedroom. Just wondering if anyone else feels this way.
Nope, couldn't care less. I don't care about anyone's sex life, any more than they care about mine. If they care about mine, then they have issues that they need to deal with.
It depends, I mean, when you throw in homosexuality into the equation, it's nice to know that if you are going to make a move on someone (tastefully mind you), that there not going to immediately reject you based on sexual preference. Also, it avoids any confusion on whether we're just friends, or you're looking for something I'm not.
Then again, think about how hard it would be to date as a homosexual, I mean you're clearly in the minority, and while heteros can easily assume that the woman their attracted to is probably straight, gays don't have that luxury.

I would like to know if the woman I'm interested in is heterosexual. Her sexual preference is extremely important to me.
Just sayin'
Also, if I'm setting up my friends, I'd like to know what sexual preferences they have as well.
I don't know if you're married or not, but for argument sake let's say you're single. Wouldn't it be nice to know if the guy your attracted to isn't gay? Avoid any heartbreak there, as it were?

Good points by both of you. I didn't anticipate that scenario in the OP and should've specified that Im tired of unsolicited statements regarding sexual preference.I would like to know if the woman I'm interested in is heterosexual. Her sexual preference is extremely important to me.

That's why we adopted online dating quickly. I think the numbers like 60% of gay couples met online for the last year. Then again, think about how hard it would be to date as a homosexual, I mean you're clearly in the minority, and while heteros can easily assume that the woman their attracted to is probably straight, gays don't have that luxury.
I could care less about someone else's preferences. That ain't none of my bitness.
But I would very much like it if those darned Clemson fans would stay off of facebook.
In the case you described, of course it would be relevant to disclose one's sexual preference. Im speaking of people that feel the need to post it on FB or in public figures' cases come out during an interview or something like that.
While this is true, there are gay and lesbian bars where most people you encounter will be gay/bi. That helps a ton when it comes to dating.

Ummm, it's pretty easy to tell, if you've spent any time around a person, and interacted with them.
I Not even gay guy walks around with a strut and effeminate, and not even gay girl is a butch. Then again, I think my gaydar is broken anyways and I can never tell. You may just have a better one than I.
Do you seriously think I don't realize that? :lamo
I've been hit on by lesbian women- it doesn't insult me, nor does it surprise me. I also have man friends who are gay, and it's been pretty obvious from the get-go that they were. It's not an issue of effeminate behavior. It's an issue of understand chemistry between sexes.
