Do you use the formatting features?

I just happened to notice that very few folks use the formatting features (most notably bulleted and sequenced list ones). I like bulleted lists...it just makes it easy to read things really quickly and it makes clear the writer's thought process. It's also useful for seeing the rhetorical organization of a piece of writing.

Then again, maybe 30+ years of management consulting in corporate America has left its imprint on me....

I use them to dumb down what's going on for the simpletons on this forum. It doesn't seem to help.

LOL...I've noticed that too....

I like the bold to highlight a certain point or maybe italics...the rest is a nuisance when typing or reading...

I used too....but no one appreciates it. The time and effort I put into my posts reflects the time and effort I expect will be put into posts with me.
