My point always is that exactly, yes. Obviously. With a smaller DoD footprint the medical housing etc costs would also be lower. Your point?
Indeed, others know simple subtraction yet you do not know that others know this. So here you are asking stupid questions. This deficiency exists for whatever bizarre reason. You're actually asking your superfluous question that doesn't need to be asked because the answer is clear already to a 5th grader. Smaller equals less in this instance in particular. No one needs to be asked this common knowledge. So as I noted you continue to say nothing. And ask superfluous nothing questions besides.
Because it's the implications and adverse impacts on the national security and global stability that you don't discuss or recognize. Everything you post is vague and notional absent impacts and effects of "a smaller DoD footprint." While your posts speed by fast it's still easy to see you haven't any tags or numbers.
Putin and Xi love it. The number one foreign and military policy of each of 'em, Putin and Xi Jin PingPong is to separate US allies and strategic partners from the USA. Both Putin and Xi loved Trump for this unholy confluence and wanted him back again for another -- life -- term. Yep Trump's their guy. All three of 'em as they together have the same pursuit, means, goal: isolating the USA from its allies and strategic partners. You don't address this. You rather insist on being vague and notional only about numbers you haven't any clue of.
