I can't believe I needed to write that just because someone made a ridiculous accusation.
I support ICE doing its job to find and arrest illegal aliens in Southern CA.

The oppressive, authoritarian party is always free to genocide, colonize, kidnap, murder, and violate people's rights without accountability, but God forbid anyone ever pushes back.

If the American Revolution happened today, you'd be defending the Redcoats and crying for the tea at the bottom of the harbor. If Star Wars were real life you'd be worshipping the Empire, and if Dune were real you'd be cheering on the Harkonnen.

It's laughable that any right winger ever calls themselves a defender of rights or freedom.

If ICE officers have to return fire to protect their lives then they could be justified in killing someone in self defense.

ICE kills people through its mere existence. There are already dozens of people who have needlessly died in ICE custody, who wouldn't have died if they were just left the **** alone.

And for the thousandth time, "illegal" immigration is a government-manufactured problem, just like the failed War on Drugs and Prohibition.

The only way you can support ICE not killing anyone is supporting the abolition of their existence, because immigration and border controls by their very nature get people killed, and generally speaking always the poorest and most vulnerable people. Ask the passengers of the St Louis if you don't believe me. Oh wait, you can't, because they all ended up in ovens and gas chambers because of people like you who hate freedom.

They are in L.A. to do a job according to federal law.
You are so far into anarchy and vandalism by a mob, you can't even begin to understand ICE is authorized by the federal government to do a job. That's what happens when the unruly mob decides they can break the law, defy the police, and get away with it because they believe the idiot mayor Bass and the out-of-touch governor Newsom is sanctioning their illegal actions.

ICE violates protocol left and right. They use fictitious warrants and lie through their teeth to civilians about the purpose of their presence. They are not trustworthy.

You're 100% right. Thieves, murderers and drug dealers never hurt anyone. Wife beaters and human traffickers are just out for a little fun and it's absurd to consider what they do a crime. We need MORE of these people in the US. We should erect statues to them like we did for St George!

Kinda of not of course, really. ICE agents have no clue what is coming to them The Jews had it happen to them before, yet they think it is ok to do the same themselves.

Where they do have a lot in common is that they of course are using violence against there own people. You seem to think that this is ok. A very disturbing thought if you ask me. Because whatever way you look at it, the Palestinians and the Jews differ only in religion and wealth, not in DNA.

ICE has been grabbing people and disappearing them with no due process a lot of times. I honestly believe that Los Angeles has every right in the world to defend themselves against ICE. ICE is the aggressor. They have no right to use lethal force and they have no right to complain about anything done to them. Having said that, violence is a bad tactic that will only lead to martial law, so must be careful.

ICE could be abolished and no one would miss it except fascists. And fascists are going to be true to themselves in promoting violence to achieve their goals.

They are Gestapo-esque thugs and flunkies who couldn't make it through the police academy. If they try to kidnap someone while masked and unidentified, treat them as you would a regular criminal in the same situation.

You are using hyperbole.

The way I understand this poll question:

If a person is in the US (or Austria) illegally ... and has been flagged for deportation by court ... and gets tracked down by authorities ... and violently resist (or others violently resist their deportation) ... then law enforcement (ICE and others) should be able to use force on them, which is a no-brainer and common sense.

This happens with every policing action in any country.

It should be the last resort though to use actual deadly force.

Only if an illegal immigrant up for deportation is charging at police officers with a weapon (or their leftist backers do so), officers should be allowed to shoot them.
 
I am absolutely not shocked about who voted yes.
