I'll give you a few minutes to clean up when you're done....

I went out drinking with Eddie Griffin one night in Orlando. He's a riot.

To each their own....but that quarter-mile crap is for the birds.

Anybody can stomp the gas pedal and go fast in a straight line.

It's the turns, corners, twists, dips, hills, and chicanes that make a drive a real dream. Dancing between the brakes, the clutch, and the gas pedal.....

When I was 15 I thought I got it, but then I grew up and have other desires. I see that and think of all the other things I could have/do that I want for the same price tag. Besides, flying is so much cooler and I do have me airman's certificate (i.e. pilot's license) and a buddy who owns aerobatics planes, not that I often partake.

Yes...

Precisely the point.

Some cars are exotic, erotic, and simply exude "sexy".

I totally agree but I don't want to watch it drive around in circles for hours.

i am a guy, and i get it. i love my Cooper S and how it accelerates and corners, and the Ferrari is that times five. however, while i am ok with the size of my manhood, i could use a little more space in my ride. i want this :

i would drive the **** out of that. at probably 9 miles a gallon.

i mean, seriously. just look at that trunk. the damned thing is fifty feet long. i can get every piece of gear i own in there and still have room for the kitchen sink and a Christmas tree. i would have to triple park by default. LAND YACHT!!!!!!!!!!!1

I don't think you have to be a guy to appreciate speed...I had the chance to to drive a lotus elan...after 150 mph..I didn't care whether I lived or died!!

not anybody cam drag race and be good at it. But really the muscle car is about the look not the race. Fiddling with flappy paddle shifters and attempting not to skid in corners that is for the birds especially in a plastic vacuum cleaner.

the fastest i have driven is 115. i have been a passenger in a car traveling 140 to 150, though. the driver was also almost legally blind. i will not do that again.

it was an orange 1977 Cutlass Supreme with a 455 and a lot of bondo. my job was to push the dash back into place when it would fall. it had been modified for drag racing, and then the person apparently got sick of working on it and got rid of it. my friend bought it for $175 with some help from my dad.

unfortunately but not unexpectedly, he blew the engine. i was pissed at him; that was one awesome car. i still want one to this day.

his wasn't this nice, but you get the idea :

The above statement completely and totally defines how much you DON'T know or understand about DRIVING.

On so many levels.

You want to bang a Ferrari??
That's what this thread is about? I was scared it was some bad fart joke or a guy trying to weigh his poop on a scale. It happens...I've never snooped through a guys cell phone pics since.

Just sayin...

I know so much more than about 95% of most people on the road today. Whipping around an empty track in a175, 000 dollar contraption specifically built for just that, pfht, a trained ape can do that. Do it in a police car in rush hour traffic in the cheapest vehicle they could find fifteen years ago on tires that should have been replaced three years ago without hitting the pedestrians and citizens cars, that is difficult.

Nah if you need a Ferrari that's because you don't know how to drive a real car.

I trained fir a month with the state troopers on how to drive. I know how to drive i do out eight hours a day five days a week.

Just because i prefer drag racing to boring endless track racing doesn't mean i don't know how to drive.

Ps. I freaking hate flappy paddle gear boxes, you can never down shift, too much shift lag and so on. A standard manual with a proper gear lever in it you don't even need to touch the clutch. Except to put it in first from neutral or into reverse.
