Many, many people in the Gulf region and beyond, in Europe and in the United States are not evangelicals and as such most are not eagerly waiting for the day Jesus comes back. Most want to live.

Speaking as a Christian, we are told to pray that we can avoid the suffering of the end times. Jesus returns in the end to save the world from terrible evil. To act to try to hurry Jesus along would be acting to increase evil. I see no scriptural basis whatsoever to support such an action.

Yes, most people are not aware of that, but here some idea...

- Egypt lost 7 Billion USD in Revenue in 2024 because of lack of vessels in Suez. Now the rate of loss is 800 Million per month.
- Inventory-carrying (interest) costs have dramatically increased by 100's of million dollars. (the interest cost for goods in transit. Transit takes longer)
- The actual shipping costs have risen by 20% since Houthi strikes started targeting shipping. And that amounts to about 2.5 Billion USD per year just for containers taking the cape instead of Suez... Add oil, bulk and everything else on top of that.
