Christmas is the constant target of political correctness in the USA as well as a major driver of the economy, but its also more than that for the majority of Americans, do you agree with Ben Steins perspective?

Ben Stein is full of himself.

Coming from Ben Stein...that was very nice.

"Its not about commercialism.. But I just bought a **** ton of christmas decorations for my house! Come and see!"

---Tell me again how its "not about commercialism" Ben Stein...

I agreed with the first half of the clip but not the second.

If I ever had an opinion that coincided with Ben Stein's, I would have to reevaluate it.

Well as we all know, the social conservatives out there have a constitutional right to have the cashier at Target tell them Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays.

Black Friday disproves that. Christmas is about unbridled consumerism and greed.

And the lefty squad hates Christmas but wouldn't outright vote for as much. Who saw that coming?

No one hates Christmas, its just that most people don't feel as though their rights have been violated when they get a card in the mail that says Season's Greetings rather than Merry Christmas. If there ever was an example of how the social conservatives can be total babies its the supposed "War on Christmas".

Oh bull****. I am not into the whole praying to the zombie thing, but I enjoy the holidays as much or more than you do.

Complaining about things like people saying Happy Festivus or whatever is about as PC as you can get. Why is it that those who whine about political correctness are the ones who practice it the most?

Why are you offended by a Target cashier saying Merry Christmas?? And how is happy HOLY days any less Offensive?

Christmas is my favorite pagan holiday.

Right, Left,
Right, Left,
Right, Left,

Yes I agree with Ben Stein.

I find it funny that all this "keep the Christ in Christmas" folk complain about things being said while engaging in the mass consumerism and unbridled greed of modern christmas. Keep the Christ in Christmas, don't give in to greed. It's a deadly sin afterall.

Who prays to a zombie?? And as a non believer why would you want anything to do with Holy days?? Other then getting new dollies, what's the point of your participation?

Is he saying he wanted to a white Christian protestant and because of that, we should all strive be part of the dominant white Christian protestant culture? Jeez Ben, if you're so ashamed of your Jewish heritage, just convert and publicly repudiate your Jewish culture. Don't try and get the rest of us to do so because you don't like the fact that you were born a Jew.

The left side of his face seemed more droopy than usual. Hope he is not stroking out from his excitement at being a Jew with a Christmas tree.

Can Red not participate in the general celebration of American Christmas?

Christmas always was about giving and receiving presents. Christians tried to change it into being about Jesus, but no one really bought it, not even Christians.
