The stories of the farmers she's interviewed can be corroborated by the countless stories and articles you can find online. I'm not a right winger but this is what's happening in South Africa. I left South Africa when I was 30. I'm an English South African. My parents owned a poultry farm, but my mom was attacked and shot three times. She survived, but just before that, my cousin, who worked for my dad's brother, who also owned a poultry farm, was murdered. My sister was raped and left in a shallow grave that she dug out from. They thought she was dead after strangling her. Then my dad's brother survived a machete attack on his farm. Two years ago, my mom's sister was attacked on her farm. They beat her almost to death. And that is just in my family. I have lost multiple friends to murder back in South Africa. I live in the USA, but my parents and most of my family still live in South Africa. My dad was finally forced from his farm due to the violence and threats. All that this reporter is saying is 100% true. Before you answer here's some things you should know...

There was a song that used to be song by members of the ANC that called for killing of the Boers, a segment of the white population in South Africa that speaks Afrikaans whose ancestors practiced slavery and purchased labor for life when Britain abolished slavery. The Boers fought two wars against Britain over that, territory and mineral rights. The song is usually sung now by radicals when the ANC stopped using it about a decade ago. The Sout African courts have ruled it as part of their free speech to sing it. FYI, I am not endorsing the use of this song, just mentioning it.

There were 26,232 murders in South Africa. 44 of them were in farming communities of which 8 were actual farmers. Anecdotally, 9 out of those 44 were black, the rest white. I say anecdotally because the South African government doesn't break down by race. However, it should be noted that white South Africans only make up 7% of the population of around 63 million. It stands to reason that most of the victims of murder are black.

As evidence of genocide, Trump provided a picture of crosses on a road, but it was from 2020 and it was a protest from when two farmers were killed on their property (whites), the crosses have long since been taken down and the organizer of the protest has confirmed this. Another picture was shown by Turmp to support his claim, but it has been discovered that it was a picture from another protest about women being killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Genocide is a serious crime against any ethnic/religious groups. When it happens, news agencies from around the world will report on it. We really haven't seen that for South Africa.

My point is this: if this is the benchmark by which we decide a genocide is happening, then almost all demographics in almost every single nation in the world, is experiencing a genocide a this very moment.

Let me start by saying; I love South Africa. Great people. Great place. And a beautiful place. It's been a few years, but I have been there several times for work. Weeks on end. Ultimately I was offered a job. A job I had asked for in the first place, but having been there and seeing the violence, I decided not to bring my wife and her daughter there. Living in a compound with electric fencing, armed guards and a gun under my pillow is not how I want to spend my days.

I get along great with both the whites and the blacks. But they hate each others gut. from my experience, it has nothing to do with race. I went to a place near the harbour in a seriously bad neighbourhood. I walked in and out of about 60 customers, I was the only white one. Within 3 minutes someone told the bouncer to look after my car. The thing is, they don't hate white people. They hate white African people. And I specifically leave out the 'South' part, because it is not much different in the surrounding countries, and they know that of course. But hey we all do it right? Even here on the forum. me included. I do not have something against white American people, but I do have something against white american people who voted for trump, and that is exactly the same thing. The problem is of course if people allow their hatred to make the decisions for them.

And I experienced discrimination going in both ways. As widely published, their is a clear inequality in terms of land, and wealth distribution. But I also saw a lot of discrimination towards the whites. Sure enough, many policies have been put in place to give black people more opportunity. This is fair enough, but those people are taking positions for which many are not really qualified. Corruption increases rapidly. Inflation increases rapidly. Crime increases, and this was already bad during apartheid. So one could argue the shithole it used to be is now overflowing...

But genocide? Hell no!

Actually, what I did was point out those "Valid points" have been around my entire life. I've heard groups you've probably never heard of explain that same nonsense to me. It always has the same flaw, and always ignores the same root cause.

When a White Guy makes a mistake, oh well Bob screwed up. When Black guy makes a mistake, you just can't trust them. They're all incompetent. It is the same excuses put forth every time. And it always sounds exactly the same. To take it from Blacks, let's take a look at Women. The first Female F-14 pilot. Kara Hurtgreen. A rookie pilot who crashed her plane on landing and died.
