Well, I agree that the government as of yet has not enacted a genocidal policy. However many white South Africans certainly have felt the need to flee!
In 1990 when tensions were peaking White South Africans represented approximately 14% of the total population. The Black population comprised 76%, while the Colored and Indian populations remained relatively stable. . Slowly but surely through the years it's been cut in half (7%).
"Since the end of apartheid in 1994, an estimated 800,000 white South Africans have emigrated, according to a Newsweek report. This figure represents a significant portion of the white South African population, which numbered 5.2 million in 1995. The primary reasons cited for this emigration include high crime rates,
affirmative action policies, and political instability.'
