Your anecdotes are irrelevant. The long wait times are documented. Six months to get treated if government decides you're not a priority.

Americans with PPO coverage don't even need a referral. So you have to wait to see a doc, wait to see the specialist, then wait for treatment. By the time you've gotten your treatment said Americans have recovered.

S'plain please? Charity clinics

Notice some inconsistencies with your meme?

Call it constructive criticism and a caution to those here that would want Canada to join the US. We know that August is the one month that it does not snow.

I live north of most of the Canadian population (greater Toronto) 2 hours east of your border.

Yet Canadians were being sent to the US for cancer treatment because Canada doesn’t have any advanced oncology fellowships.

Profit baby.

I made fun of canada for having a smaller GDP than some US states. Turns out the canadian economy isn’t even larger than that of every US city.

We will admit Canada conditionally as a city like Washington DC. Taxes? Yes. Voting representation in Congress? No.

I made fun of canada for having a smaller GDP than some US states.

Only 3 states - California, Texas and New York have larger economies.

Turns out the canadian economy isn’t even larger than that of every US city.

Only one US city has a larger GDP than Canada. Which makes sense as they have a larger population.

Lol lmao

1. This is canadian education on display. There are 40 million people living in snow mexico. There’s no a city/metropolitan area on the planet with a population that size.

2. Texas, New York, and California all have smaller populations than canada.

Not sure what point you're trying to make. A country 10 times our size will necessarily have a higher GDP.

Canada's GDP compares favorably with European countries especially those close in size.

And also: Canada is currently the most educated country in the world - 57.5% tertiary educated.

Cities 3/4ths your size have bigger economies is the issue

That’s cute. canadian medical education is so insufficient that there are more canadian physicians doing cardiology fellowships in the US than in canada itself.

Lol lmao. If you have to distinguish between city proper and metropolitan area because one actually has a larger gdp than canada you’ve already lost.

What’s the population of the New York metro area. Is it bigger than canada’s national population?

Your claim...

Turns out the canadian economy isn’t even larger than that of every US city.

Is absurd.

Okie dokie buddy. I can see you trying to rationalize this to yourself. No city has a bigger economy(not actually measured) than canada, just a metropolitan area with a smaller population.

It’s okay man. I’m just explaining the issues with canada that would mean their admission to the union wouldn’t be as a state initially.

Simply perusing the bulk of the threads on this and other Ameri-centric public forums to view the sea change in tenor from the once overwhelming rah, rah, cheerleading of the semi- literate, retarded toddler they supported, to now seeing the worms turning and buyer's remorse being on full display.

Bragadoccio is the last refuge of the immature insecure.

I don’t think you understand the difference between bragging and shit talk. I’m making fun of canada, and canadians by extension. You almost got to be American but had to settle for Eskimo Mexican instead.

Why would Canadians take that deal? Canada is larger than the US and has more people than any one US state. Canadians would rebel rather than take that deal.

I’m just laying out the terms. You can’t have a population of 40 million and produce less than a city of 20 million and expect full on statehood.

There are states with a GDP that is far lower than Canada's GDP. Why can't Canada just remain a sovereign country? Austria has a lower GDP than Germany, no one is suggesting that Austria become part of Germany. How would Canada benefit from being a US territory?
