I'll skip Clinton's speech but not the mothers. I'm looking forward to that.

Blaming the hacking of the DNC emails on Russia, sounds a lot like misdirection to me. A trait of liberalism and Demos.

Kind of like blaming the incompetence and ineptitude of Hillary and obama in Benghazi, on some video, that the terrorists never saw. :lamo
Except the Russians did hack the DNC and there was a video that pissed people off.

I wonder what your excuse would be if your email got hacked and turned over to your boss, customers or the mother whose basement you live in :)

Pledge of Allegiance
Mallory Weggemann

National Anthem
Timmy Kelly
Timmy Kelly is from Pennsylvania and sang the National Anthem at the campaign launch in New York.
I'm surprised the DNC would allow the Pledge and National Anthem.

Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder

A failed Sec. of State to speak on behalf of another failed Sec. of State. How appropriate!

CNN wins first night of DNC as Philly tops Cleveland in ratings race | TheHill

CNN easily finished first in the ratings race from the first night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

In the 10 p.m. hour, which featured headliner speeches from Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) and first lady Michelle Obama, CNN registered 6.29 million total viewers and 2.19 million in the key 25–54 demographic.
Overall, the network was up 70 percent from its 2012 DNC showing in both total viewers and the demographic.

Across all broadcast and cable coverage, preliminary Nielsen data indicates 26 million people tuned in for the DNC's opening act, besting the Republican National Convention's first night by 3 million viewers.

Quote of the election season nominee

It is not so much that Vladimir Putin wants Trump to win, so they can divvy up Europe between them. It is that Trump intends to do to American democracy what Putin did to Russia’s fledgling democracy – turn it into an illiberal Potemkin democracy in which the strongman always gets the final say. Trump is not even trying to disguise this agenda. He has told us quite plainly that he will use the powers of his office to persecute his opponents and put them in jail; that he will purge the government of any neutral civil servants; that he will pursue anti-trust action against media challengers; that he will demonize and quarantine a free press; and that he will order criminal acts in the military.
Andrew Sullivan Liveblogs the DNC, Night 2

And what is scary is the puppets supporting this bastard cheer him on.

Hillary's surprise appearance at the end...with the breaking of the glass ceiling was quite clever. :)

I have to say...liberals throw better parties.

The convention is good. It's aimed at the base, but it also shows any fence sitter that this is not a whine-fest. It's a group of adults with adult approaches to solving problems. No flag waving twitter exploding morons here. Just srious people with serious ideas. I believe that, with this show, she pulls in a few moderate Republicans who can't stomach Trump.

Ugh . . .well it took till day 3 but finally i started dry heaving at the DNC like I did at the RNC . . . . its the pandering to "gun violence" stuff that makes me gag. . .
don't get me wrong its a REAL and LEGIT issue but they way everybody addresses it accomplishes nothing. The stories shared are HORRIBLE but the vast majority of the talking is just reflection of bad stories and catch phrases nothing of solid ideas to actually do something that prevents gun VIOLENCE.

the worst part is in the end nothing is really going to be done anyway . . .and thats the sad part.
