How is that a progressive position, when it's conservatives talking about grabbing up other country's territory like it's no big deal?

I am in favor of Greenland joining the united states. The only ones talking about it happening against the will of Greenland is the left.

brought up by a left wing reporter. It was never suggested by Trump that he would commandeer Greenland by force. Trump simply refused to commit to something asked of him by some inconsequential reporter. It speaks to how self-important the media thinks they are that they think Trump should discuss strategies with them as if he needs their approval. These are the same people who dutifully sat by silently while Biden refused to answer any questions. The press has voluntarily turned themselves into the emporer with no clothes.

Leaving open the possibility that he will seize it by force, against the will of the people of Greenland.

Apparently that sort of refusal to answer is how our new POTUS likes to communicate.

Greenland has made it very clear that they have no desire to join the United States. So the only way it could happen is against their will.

Certainly people are rightfully concerned when the incoming POTUS is raving like a lunatic, and refusing to calm people's concerns (about the ravings.)

Trump raised the Greenland issue in the first place as part of his campaign.

He is actually the only one who could possibly make it make sense.

I wouldn't stress about it. It's just going to be one of those mysteries.

He did not raise the notion of a military invasion of Greenland. That ridiculous hysteria was ginned up by the left.

No one was talking about Greenland at all before Trump raised the Greenland issue, which you'll note is different from a military invasion of Greenland.

He first said "ownership of Greenland is an absolute necessity" on his own social media platform.

Somehow I am Chicken Little for wondering what he is jabbering about?

It's not like it was a one time thing, or he's backed off of it.

He means something. He should probably be able to handle questions about his idea.
