All right. All right. I confess. I correct grammar in my head as I read. I always convert "like" to "as" while I read if it has to be done so that I do not become sloppy in my own speech and writing. I also try never to split an infinitive. But I am weak. I, also, make manifold errors. :)

There were never that many criminals and gangbangers to begin with, and we know the vast majority of people he's deporting are those with no criminal record and many of whom were going through the legal process.

Meanwhile, Trump is actually letting Sinaloa cartel members into the country.

What was so cavalier about the Biden administration's attitude toward immigration?

We needed more immigration judges to allow asylum seekers to be judged at ports of entry and Congress wasn't doing its job. It never tackled legislation to deal with the influx of immigrants. It never allocated the huge amount of money for judges and courts needed. (But it will pay private companies to incarcerate migrants here and abroad.) Think of the money being wasted in El Salvador that could have been spent hiring immigration judges to sort through all the immigrants right here and humanely return the ones who didn't meet the criteria for entry to the United States to their own countries? And what about aid to the countries that were so dangerous and/or poor that their populations were fleeing their countries to come here? Was it really less expensive to fly migrants via expensive military planes to El Salvador where we pay billions to a brutal dictator rather than having a Marshall Plan to help the countries of Central America to become more economically and socially stable?

Trump and Musk just cut more aid to starving people. Maybe that's not the answer. Maybe paying off dictators isn't the answer. Help people in their home countries and they won't all want to come here.
 
I don't have a problem with deporting people to their country of origin if they are here illegally.

I do have a problem with sending them to foreign supermax prison or a country they are not from, particularly without due process. I will never accept the idea of using foreign prisons no matter the circumstance.

Crossing the border illegally is a misdemeanor. It doesn't make a person a drug dealer or murderer. When you think farm worker, do you envision white folks in the fields?

I don't disagree with your points on Biden's immigration policies and legislation. I'd like it if we had more consistency across administrations via laws that are always in place. However, I think border security was too lax during several intervals of Biden's term. I disagree with Trump's overall execution of his immigration policies, but they are effective at border security. Whether that's because there are more patrols or because no one wants to enter the disaster our country has become, that remains to be seen.

Especially, when they are members of terrorist organizations.

Should we have built our own supermax prison? Or, would you prefer we just continue to let them roam our open society like the Biden pukes did?

Trump is a convicted felon and you voted for him. Is there a difference between him and an illegal border crosser? He's a felon they committed a misdemeanor.

There are other options. There are international agencies that handle these types of issues and help find prison systems that offer humane conditions. There are neighboring countries who have similar immigration laws. We've handled similar cases through diplomatic and legal channels before. Why is President Trump so against diplomacy and following laws?
